Wine in Tuscany
Tuscany is a treasure chest containing a priceless heritage.
Think art and culture, the open-air museums of some of its cities such as Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Lucca.
But think also of the Renaissance and immortal artists of the caliber of Raphael, Michelangelo, Botticelli. To all that the Medici Family created during its long rule.
And then consider that Tuscany is also precious for nature, its breathtaking views such as those in Val d'Orcia or Chianti, or the sea of its archipelago with the Island of Montecristo, reminiscent of Alexandre Dumas' book.
Finally, it is also precious for a delicious nectar that is produced: wine! Brunello, Chianti, Bolgheri, Super Tuscan, just to name a few.
And today I want to talk to you specifically about wine because it is one of my passions, so much so that I am studying to become a sommelier. In particular I would like to start by talking about Bolgheri because it is just a few kilometers from my home.
It is a beautiful area, characterized by rolling hills overlooking the sea. From here with a clear sky you can also see the island of Corsica and two islands of the Tuscan Archipelago: Elba, the largest, and Capraia. Hills that are home to beautiful castles, wineries and vineyards!
So here I think I am doing you a favor by visiting some of these wineries for you. So that you can begin to get to know them at least a little and arouse your desire to visit them in person.
All you have to do is stay connected.
