Langhe logbook - Day 4 📔

Hello Langhe! 🇮🇹
Today we started the day with a beautiful view of the Langhe and Roero from the top of Barbaresco. We then ventured to the Rizzi winery for a tasting of excellent Barbaresco.

We had lunch in La Morra, on top of a hill with one of the most beautiful views in the area. After lunch, we visited the famous colourful little chapel of Barolo and, to end the day, we went to see the famous ‘big benches’ of the area.

At the end of the day, we returned to Turin for a night walk to discover the magical Turin

Langhe logbook - Day 3 📔

Hello from Piedmont! 🇮🇹
Today we discovered the beautiful 13th-century frescoes at the Castel della Manta, a real gem of our tour. Our guide showed us a unique heritage of medieval art, enriching our knowledge of local history.

After lunch, we had a special tasting in Alba: delicious organic and artisanal ice cream. Afterwards, Lisa showed us the town of Alba, famous for the International White Truffle Fair, which attracts truffle lovers from over 60 countries.

Langhe logbook - Day 2 📔

Hello from the Langhe! 🇮🇹
Today we spent the day discovering the Langhe with our private coach and guide. We explored the UNESCO landscape of the Langhe, admiring the green hills, vineyards and castles of Grinzane, Serralunga and Barolo.🏰

In Verduno, we had a wine tasting and lunch at the Diego Morra winery. After lunch, we visited Italy’s most innovative wine museum, the WIMU, in Barolo.🌿

The day ended with a wine tasting and dinner at the Brezza winery, tasting the best wines of the region. Keep following us so you don’t miss the adventures of the coming days! 🎨🍷

Langhe logbook - Day 1 📔

Hello from Turin! 🇮🇹
Today we explored Turin, a Royal City and UNESCO heritage site. Early in the morning we started a walking tour of the historic centre with our guide Lisa, ending with lunch in an old 17th century palace at the Circolo dei Lettori, the cultural heart of Turin.📚

After lunch, we visited the splendid Egyptian Museum, the oldest of its kind in the world, second only to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Before dinner, we had a tasting of vermouth, produced in Turin since 1757, at 🧊.

Dinner was served in a typical ‘piola’, a traditional restaurant awarded best in class in 2022 and 2023. After dinner, we headed to Pollenzo in our private bus and settled in the Albergo dell’Agenzia, a historic residence of the House of Savoy.🥂

Today we concluded our journey with unforgettable emotions and flavours, guided by Ingo and accompanied by our fantastic travelling companions. 🚶‍♂️🍕

The morning gave us a guided tour of Bari Vecchia, enriching our day with history and traditions. Thank you Ingo! 🏛️✨

Then we delighted our palate with Apulian pizza, a taste experience that will remain in our memories. Thank you all for sharing this adventure with us. 🍕🙏

On the train to new destinations, we bid farewell to Puglia with gratitude in our hearts.

Puglia logbook - Day 8 📔

Hello from beautiful Puglia! 🌞

Today we immersed ourselves in the wonders of Matera, guided by the expertise and passion of Ingo, our amazing guide who accompanied us with dedication and professionalism at every step of our journey. 🚶‍♂️🏰

The day began with a guided tour of Matera, a historical jewel set amidst the striking ravines, a UNESCO site that enraptured our hearts with its timeless beauty. Thanks to Ingo’s expertise, we were able to explore the ancient Sassi districts and discover the secrets of this thousand-year-old city, an experience that will remain etched in our memories forever. 🏞️✨

Afterwards, we delighted in a typical lunch in Matera, enjoying the delicacies of the local cuisine and being won over by the authentic flavours of this generous land. We could not resist the delicious Altamura bread, a real treat for the palate that made our meal even more special. 🍞🍽️

In the afternoon, we continued our journey to the Chiaromonte winery in Gioia del Colle, where a warm welcome and a tasting of precious wines awaited us. Here, together with Nicola Chiaromonte surprised us by making typical Apulian panzerotti, a gesture that made our experience even more unforgettable. Among the yellow flowers of wild fennel, typical of Apulia, we savoured every sip of wine, experiencing a moment of authentic joy and sharing. 🌼🍷

At the end of this extraordinary day, we would like to sincerely thank our driver Nicola of Leonice Viaggi for his impeccable service and his ever-present smile. Thanks also to Ingo, our exceptional guide, whose knowledge and kindness made every moment of our trip a unique experience. 🚐🙏

We are now preparing for our last night in Bari, ready to leave tomorrow morning for new adventures and discoveries.

Greetings from the beautiful Puglia! 🌞

Today we continued our journey through the lands of Puglia, immersing ourselves in the artistic and culinary wonders of the region, discovering the Baroque beauty of Martina Franca. 🚶‍♂️🍇

The day began with a guided tour of picturesque Martina Franca, where we had the privilege of exploring the winding streets and old palaces that characterise its beautiful historic centre. We discovered the marvellous Baroque beauty of the city and were enchanted by the architectural richness and timeless charm of this fascinating place. 🏛️✨

Next, we headed to the Pietraventosa winery in Gioia del Colle, where a unique wine experience awaited us. Through a guided tour and a wine tasting with lunch, we had the opportunity to discover the secrets of local wine production and taste some of the region’s finest wines. With , we saw the vineyards and let ourselves be carried away by the aromatic nuances of the wines we tasted, making for an unforgettable experience for palate and soul. 🍷🍽️

Apulia logbook - Day 6 📔

Greetings from the beautiful Puglia! 🌞

Today we once again immersed ourselves in the wonders of the region, accompanied by our local guides who made this day an unforgettable experience. 🚶‍♂️🧀

Our adventure kicked off with a visit and tasting at the Plantamura Winery in Gioia del Colle, a true oenological gem that welcomed us with its fine wines and warm hospitality. With as our tireless guide, we explored the vineyards and learned the secrets of local winemaking, then delighted our palates with the intense and enveloping flavours of the wines we tasted. 🍷🍇

Afterwards, we stopped to sample some of Martina Franca’s typical delicacies, including local cheeses and capocollo, immersing ourselves in the authentic flavours and gastronomic traditions of the region🧀🥩

In the late afternoon, we gathered at the spectacular Relais Villa San Martino in Martina Franca, a historic residence that welcomed us with its unique charm and enchanting atmosphere. Here, we enjoyed a typical dinner, delighting in the famous panzarotti pugliesi, filled with authentic and enveloping flavours. 🏰🍽️

The day was an ode to the senses, full of gastronomic and artistic discoveries that will remain engraved in our hearts and minds forever. We are grateful to Ingo for making this day so special and look forward to discovering what the next chapter of our adventure in Puglia holds in store for us.

Hello from the wonderful Puglia! 🌞

Today we immersed ourselves once again in the historical and culinary riches of this fascinating land, accompanied by Ingo’s expertise and passion. 🚶‍♂️🍝

Our day began with a guided tour of Frederick II’s majestic castle, Castel del Monte. We were enchanted by the panoramic view from the top of the castle, admiring the breathtaking landscapes at its feet. 🏰🔍

Next, we headed to the Carpentieri Winery in Corato, where we had the privilege of tasting some of the region’s best wines. With as our tireless cicerone, we explored the vineyards and discovered the secrets of Apulian winemaking, before delighting in the different nuances of the wines on offer. 🍷🍇

In the afternoon, we continued our journey to Martina Franca, a charming town characterised by its cobbled streets and rich cultural heritage. Here, we had the opportunity to participate in an orecchiette coocking class, learning the secrets of Apulian cuisine directly from the expert hands of local chefs. Amidst laughter and inviting aromas, we created delicious dishes that we then enjoyed together in a convivial and festive atmosphere. 🍝👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

The day was an unforgettable experience of cultural discoveries and shared gastronomic joys.

Hello from Puglia! 🌞

Our day started early, departing from Trani as the sun rose over the beautiful coastal landscape. Our journey took us through the Saline Margherita Savoia, where we were able to admire the unique beauty of this saline ecosystem. 🌊

Our first stop was at the San Severo Cantina d'Arapri, where we had the opportunity to taste fine local wines and discover the secrets of their production. With as our guide, we honed our palates and let ourselves be carried away by the aromatic nuances of Apulian wines. 🍷🍇

In the afternoon, we continued our tour by tasting passionata, a typical T***a cake that won our hearts with its exquisite sweetness. We also visited the famous T***a Cathedral, renowned for its magnificent rose window, one of the most beautiful in Romanesque architecture. Immersed in the atmosphere of this ancient city, we breathed in the history and art that permeates every corner. 🏰🍰

Greetings from the wonderful Puglia! 🌞

Our adventure continues with the company of Ingo, who guided us through a day full of discoveries and unforgettable flavours. 🚶‍♂️🍽️

The morning took us to the fascinating Grotte di Castellana, a true underground natural spectacle that left us breathless. Through the intricate rock formations and the play of light, we took a journey into the heart of the earth. 🌍✨

Next, we headed to the Oil Mill in Cisternino, immersed in the ancient traditions of Apulian olive oil. We learnt the secrets of oil production and tasted some of the finest varieties. Lunch with the typical Cisternino roast was rich in local flavours, a gastronomic experience to remember. 🫒🍖

In the afternoon, we continued our journey to Trani, a city that enchants with its picturesque port and enchanting atmosphere. Our arrival was greeted with a typical dinner, where we delighted our palate with local specialities, immersed in the culture and authenticity of this fascinating place. 🌊🍽️

Our adventure continues with a visit to the charming towns of Locorotondo, Alberobello and Monopoli, guided by Ingo, the expert guide who will follow us throughout the tour Puglia🏘️🚶‍♂️

We got lost in the narrow streets of Locorotondo, admiring the white houses and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. 🏞️ Then, we ventured to Alberobello, where the iconic trulli and Ingo’s anecdotes transported us to a fairytale world. 🏰

This evening, enchanted by the charm of Monopoli, we will have a delicious seafood dinner in front of the sparkling waters. 🦐🍷
