Dating back to medieval times, this day honors St. John the Baptist with timeless traditions: from the majestic parade in historical costume to the final match of Calcio Storico in Piazza Santa Croce.
As night falls, the Arno lights up with it's "Fochi di San Giovanni". From 10pm to 11pm, you can marvel at the traditional fireworks, set off from Piazzale Michelangelo and visible from many spots across the city!
