A typical southern Italian town, Lecce, bursting with piazzas and palazzi, is a wonderful setting for the strolling visitor and its rich creative heritage is testament to the great inventiveness of the local people. Lecce, often described as ‘the Florence of the south’, in my opinion cannot be compared to any other city in Italy and it has a charm all of its own and I'm sure that its atmosphere will weave a powerful spell on each one of you!
