Guardiagrele, in Abruzzo, is an ancient village with a rich history dating back to the Benedictine colonization and its peak in the 12th century. Its urban layout and architecture still bear traces of this past: ancient towers, churches, old houses, and narrow alleys, all enchant with their medieval atmosphere. However, the heart of Guardiagrele lies in its craftsmanship, whose legacy continues with today's exquisite art and craft creations, especially in goldsmithing.
Guardiagrele is part of Italy's "Most Beautiful Villages" circuit.

Basilicata is one of the less known regions in Italy, located in the south between Puglia, Campania and Calabria.
