Was ursprünglich wohl ein 2 Zimmer Haus, eine Kombination von Stall unten und Wohnen oben war, ist nach und nach ein komfortables Domizil geworden. Nachdem es die jetzige Eigentümer Familie mehr als zwanzig Jahre selbst und ausschliesslich alleine als Ferienhaus genutzt hatte, hat si
ch die Familie vor ein paar Jahren dann entschieden, das Haus für den Anspruch anspruchsvoller Feriengäste auszubauen und zu renovieren. Besonderer Augenmerk wurde auf eine stilvolle Integration der Erweiterungen und die Verwendung von klassischen Materialien gelegt. Natürlich ist modernste Technik beim Einsatz von Strom, Gas und Wasser zum Einsatz gekommen, so dass man heute in der Villa Guarda Mare stilvoll und komfortabel die Zeit grosszügig geniessen kann. 2 Doppelzimmer, 1 Appartment mit zusätzlicher Schlafcouch sowie ein Einzelzimmer bieten variabel komfortabel zwischen 7 und 9 Personen Platz. So dass mit Kleinkindern 9-11 Personen ausreichend Platz vorfinden.

Medioevo nel Borgo, un tuffo nel passato nel suggestivo scenario di Roccatederighi (GR).
Roccatederighi è un borgo medievale situato sulla cima di una collina a ovest di Roccastrada. Sorto in epoca medievale, il paese passò sotto il controllo dei Senesi nel corso del Trecento; a metà Cinquecento entrò a far parte del Granducato di Toscana. Mediante una porta ad arco (una volta doppia) di grande impatto scenico, che si apre lungo le Mura di Roccatederighi, si accede al caratteristico borgo medievale.Esso si inerpica tra le strette vie (da menzionare la splendida Via del Tufolino, che si apre in un'incantevole piazzetta sulla roccia, i cosiddetti "massi") fino alla chiesa Maggiore. Il castello con la Torre dell'Orologio (simbolo della contrada della "Torre") ed la chiesa di San Martino, di origini medievali, e ristrutturata nel secolo scorso.La chiesa di San Sebastiano si presenta in stile neoclassico a seguito di una ristrutturazione avvenuta nel corso dell’Ottocento.Il paese è diviso in cinque contrade: il Corso, i Nobili, la Torre, il Tramonto e la Ventosa.Esse partecipano il 14 agosto di ogni anno alla caratteristica "corsa dei ciuchi" (seguita da sfilate storiche medievali) per vincere il "palio", un drappo dipinto da artisti locali.
