Le Terme di Diocleziano a Roma ⛲️

Le Terme di Diocleziano, le più grandi mai costruite, sono un capolavoro di ingegneria e architettura imperiale. Risalenti al 298-306 d.C., furono dedicate all’imperatore Diocleziano, anche se non le vide mai completate.
Furono costruite per celebrare la potenza e la stabilità del suo regno, in un’epoca in cui Roma era il cuore pulsante di un vasto impero.

Diocleziano, noto per le sue riforme amministrative e militari, volle lasciare un segno anche nella vita quotidiana dei romani.

Le terme, in grado di ospitare fino a 3.000 persone contemporaneamente, rappresentavano un luogo di svago, benessere e cultura, dove i cittadini potevano rilassarsi, incontrarsi e vivere la grandezza della civiltà romana.

Piazza Navona, one of the most iconic squares in Rome, is a stunning example of Baroque architecture, bustling with history and art.

Originally built on the site of the ancient Stadium of Domitian, the square was transformed in the 17th century into the magnificent space we see today.

Its design was strongly influenced by the Baroque period, characterized by grandiose, emotional, and dynamic architecture.

At the heart of the square is the Fountain of the Four Rivers (Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi), designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, one of the most renowned artists of the Baroque era.

The figures of the rivers are depicted as powerful, almost mythological beings, enhancing the baroque sense of movement and emotion.

On the northern side of Piazza Navona, you’ll find the stunning Church of Sant’Agnese in Agone, designed by Francesco Borromini and Girolamo Rainaldi in the 17th century.

Galleria Borghese: un viaggio nel cuore dell’arte barocca ✨

Nel cuore di Roma, tra il verde del Parco Borghese, sorge uno dei musei più affascinanti e ricchi di storia: la Galleria Borghese. Un vero e proprio scrigno che ospita una straordinaria collezione di sculture, dipinti e opere d’arte, molte delle quali appartenenti alla famiglia Borghese. Qui si respira l’eccellenza del Rinascimento e del Barocco, con capolavori di artisti come Caravaggio, Rafael, Tiziano e, ovviamente, Gian Lorenzo Bernini.

L’intensità del momento è scolpita in ogni dettaglio: il dolore di Proserpina, la forza di Plutone, la tensione dei corpi che sembrano quasi prendere vita grazie alla straordinaria abilità di Bernini nel modellare il marmo.

La nostra offerta custodisce un legame speciale con la storica famiglia Savelli, maestri dell’arte musiva a Roma e Vaticano dal 1898.
