I FEEL lucky. I really am. I am lucky because I have discovered - over time, with effort - that in me there are all the tools necessary to be well. I am lucky because I can be well on my own and do not "need" others to be happy, although others often (with their presence, their love) multiply my happiness.
I am lucky because I have passion and curiosity coursing through my veins, because I am hungry for life and I am no longer afraid of fears, limitations, tears, pain as before.
I am lucky because I know how to laugh from the belly and cry from being sick ... and then start laughing again.
I am lucky because I am not afraid to "lose" because I have finally found ME. I am lucky because I feel the EMOTIONS and know the Wonder.
I am lucky because I LOVE... without fear, without limits, without filters.... With all my soul and every corner of my body. I am lucky because I know forgiveness, I do NOT know envy, and I am happy with other people's happiness.
I am lucky because I have been given several gifts (of life, of encounters, of talents) and I have celebrated them all with gratitude, commitment and responsibility.
I am lucky.
And also a little proud of myself.
I have, in me, the Infinite. ❤️

There is something so invigorating, soul-awakening, renewing, restoring, refreshing and healing about being in the mountains.
If there is one feeling I wish I could package up and share with the world, it would be the way nature makes me feel. I have never felt more alive, free and strong in myself than when standing on top of a mountain.

Are you planning a hiking trip to the Dolomites and don’t know where to start?

If you already have some hikes in the high alpine areas under your belt and you are up for a little bit of a challenge, maybe a short cable-protected scrambling sections for a fun day of adventuring in the mountains, then this is exactly what you’re looking for.

The Gran Cir is a majestic mountain located just above the Passo Gardena in the heart of the Dolomites. From the south side, onlookers can admire its steep Dolomite cliffs. And yet, you don’t have to be an expert climber to summit this mountain: a secured track leads all the way to the top at 2.592 m altitude.

The view is breathtaking from the top.

You’ll be able to gaze upon an endless array of mountains in all directions. Facing west, you’ll be able to spot Ortler, the highest mountain in South Tyrol. To the south, you’ll see the famous Sella, while facing east will give you a glimpse of other giants of the Dolomites like Tofana, Antelao, Civetta and many more!

I have hiked it personally, so don’t shy away from asking me any questions in the comment section below!

I felt the need to go back to that place to clear my head and look deep into myself. I felt broken, hurt and unappreciated. I felt worthless…✨

I always used to think it was my responsibility to fix others, to understand others, to love them unconditionally, even if it meant compromising my happiness and probably theirs.

The mountains thought me, to let people travel their own path.
They have mistakes they need to make. They have experiences to collect.
They have there problems to work through.
I am not ever going to stand in the way of that again.
If they come to me for help, I will help, but I will not force my help or my comprehension and love on anybody anymore. ✨

We’re all worthy of happiness, love, respect, and feeling valued. What we choose to accept in our lives is in our power to change.✨

There are times in life where you just need to find yourself again and rediscover your strengths that deep down you always knew you had. 🤩💪
It may seem difficult at first but when you feel those strengths coming back inside you, it's like an explosion that starts from within and fills you with incredible energy and a desire to live it.
It happens to me every time I go to the mountains . Every time I find myself observing the grandeur of the mountains I can feel forces within me grow that I feared had been lost. I rediscover that side of me that is full of life, and joy, which has buried inside me for too long, to chase people or situations and to adapt.
I believe that nature has immense power, don't you also believe?
So don't stand still when a situation knocks you down. Keep moving, open up.... An amazing life is waiting for you!

Dreams keep us going even when our hearts are broken. They give us something to hope for, something to look forward to. Dreams are what make life worth living, even when things are tough.

When our hearts are broken, it’s tempting to give up on our dreams. But that’s not necessarily the right thing to do. Just because our hearts are broken doesn’t mean that our dreams are no longer valid.
In fact, it might be more important than ever to hold onto our dreams and fight for them. Dreams give us a reason to keep going, even when life is tough.

I have a lot of dreams, but every now and then, when I forget, I need to retreat to the peace of nature to rediscover the ones that make me feel free and happy.

So don’t give up on your dreams, even if your heart is broken. They might just be the only thing keeping you going. 💔🫶

If you are a Free Spirit too, you certainly can relate:
Free spirits are unique and don’t fit into traditional molds. While this makes them special, it’s also the root of their biggest challenge: finding friends who really get them.
It’s hard to make friends when you think and act in a completely different way than all the people you know. It can also be tough for free spirits to find like-minded partners who share their love of adventure and freedom.
Free spirits also need to expand their horizons to be happy continuously. They can’t do this without interacting with people who have different opinions and interests than them.
It’s not easy to sit and listen to small-minded people go on and on about how they think the world should be. This is what it’s like for free spirits when they’re forced to spend time with people who don’t share their open thoughts and opinions.
It’s not easy to be a Free Spirit in this world, but if you’re one, remember:
we are special because of our individualism, so appreciate your uniqueness even though everyone else is different!
And with this last summer post I want to say goodbye for good to the warm sunshine and summer sights, to welcome with open arms, the snow and the winter, always ready for new adventures!
Stay warm and stay tuned!

•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~• A free spirited person has solid values and opinions about life, it isn’t someone who wanders for the sake of it; a true free spirit lives with intention. Indeed, beein a free-spirited woman comes with a lot of difficulties because it means that she’s different from the rest. She stands out and she can’t follow the rules of society.
She’s passionate about everything. There’s nothing in her life that she loves with half of her heart.
She goes for all or nothing and that’s why you’ll know that she wants you and no one else but you, because she’s fully dedicated to loving and caring for you.
She’ll help you become better and see the world from a whole new perspective. Just because she’s not like the ordinary women out there, she will show you the world through her own eyes.
Adventures are her drugs and if you’re a homebody, it won’t go well with her soul.
She loves to travel and to find out new things. She’s curious in a way you’ve never seen before and don’t think that you can slow her down—she will be gone before you can ever realise it.

Does your life have some moments of regret? Did you ever have a failed romance? Have you ever failed to accomplish what you set out to accomplish?
I know your answer to probably every one of these questions is, “Yes, I have.” And the fact is, ALL OF US can answer yes to one or more or ALL of these questions. During such times you may have been disappointed. Maybe you were disillusioned. You might have been discouraged.
But again, NEARLY EVERYONE HAS.
The interesting truth is that it’s these disappointing moments, events, and experiences that have shaped you into the person you’ve become.
And though you may have PREFERRED TO AVOID those moments, without them, you would not be the same person you now are. Remember, a meaningful life isn’t possible without them.
Let me get personal for a moment by sharing one of my own defining and shaping experiences.
When I was nearly 30 years old, I seriously injured my back. It was a horrible experience that took more than a full year for complete recovery. If you’ve ever had a serious physical injury, you can relate. But my back injury and recovery turned out to be one of the greatest learning experiences of my life. Now, some years later, my back is probably in better shape than the vast majority of people and I’ve learned to appreciate every moment I can hiking, climbing, running and even walking. In fact, I enjoy life and the little things more than I would have likely had WITHOUT IT.

So don’t hate the experiences that shaped you. Accept that it’s those experiences that molded you into the person you became.
They taught you what you needed to know. They made you a person of deeper understanding, greater knowledge…and hopefully…a person with deeper insight into life itself.

•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•Do you feel disconnected sometimes?  Maybe you’re so busy with everything in your life that you barely have time to see the world around you.  Maybe the only time you notice nature is when the weather interferes with the things on your to-do list.  Maybe you can’t remember the last time you were able to just breathe and sit outside.  There's a lot of evidence that time spent in nature can have a significant positive effective on mental and physical health. Walking in a green area has been shown to have beneficial effects for mental health concerns such as depression and ADHD.
Time spent in nature is a great way to center yourself.  For some of us, it is the beginning of a meditation practice or a greater spiritual awareness of how we are interconnected with all living things.  For others, it is simply a great way to manage stress.  Wherever you would like your time outdoors to lead you, there are a lot of great ways to get started reconnecting with the natural world around you.

•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~• When I’m in the mountains and get lost in my thoughts, I discover myself being serial day dreamer, but nothing peaks my interest more than a good old legend.
This one in particular happens to be all of my favourite things rolled into one neat little package. It’s romantic, thought-provoking, awe-inspiring and just so darn beautiful that I feel duty-bound to share it with you.
It’s “The legend of the red thread”
The basis of this legend is that everyone’s little finger is tied to an invisible red string that will lead him or her to another person to which the other end is tied and with whom they have an important story.
According to legend, this is true to all people, regardless of time, place or circumstance.
Along your string other people’s threads will cross, the lines will touch and sometimes become tangled, for a while, but the end of the string will always be there attached to that one person waiting for you to reach it.
The string may tangle, contract or stretch but it can never break.
I really love the idea, that through a labyrinth of encounters there is a pre-determined and perfect path set out for us by the thread; connecting us on our irrevocable route towards our ultimate destination.

•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~• Some of the greatest experiences we have in life are those things that happened unexpectedly.
When life brings us something out of an unexpected, we definitely feel amazed. But that’s how, life is supposed to be.
Every person has something to teach us. Whether they stay for an hour, a day or 10 years, they are there for the right amount of time. That amount of time is simply how long it takes you to learn the soul lesson.
Meeting unexpected people at an unexpected time is something fascinating about life. If in case, we know whom we are meeting, we would surely try to mend our ways and try to portray something we are not. The possibility of being not real increases. Therefore something out of the blue is natural and gives a meaning to life.

As we cannot always control everything and every aspect of our life, sometimes we need to be more relaxed and let life do it’s work. Most people want to be circled by safety, not by the unexpected. The unexpected can take you out. But the unexpected can also take you over and change your life!

It's normal for your self-talk to focus on negative thoughts, so make an active effort to use the power of positivity to change your inner monologue for the better. Every day, set a reminder to think positive thoughts in order to increase your confidence and make you feel happier.
I try to do this every time I embark on some new endeavor, whether it be sports (biking, climbing or otherwise), work or interpersonal relationships....and believe me....life changes...

•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~• As previously said, this ride starts in Innichen along one of the best-loved and most popular trails in South Tyrol: the Drava cycle path, which runs from Innichen to Lienz across the border. The 44-kilometer-long route, with a negative elevation gain of almost 600m to Lienz, is easy to negotiate and is also suitable for families.
The San Candido-Lienz bike path is paved and runs on a well-marked path through meadows, forests and villages.

Once arrived in Lienz we keep to the right in the direction of "Tristacher See" which we reach always on an asphalt road with an average gradient of 18%.
Once past the beautiful lake, we continue to the junction to the Lienz Dolomites Road. From here we climb again on an average gradient of 16% to the Dolomitenhütte (1,620 m a.s.l.).
After a stop at the hut, we start on the dirt road to the Karlsbader Hut. Through an alpine landscape we reach the heart of the Lienz Dolomites. Our destination is located at 2,260 m above sea level just a few meters from Lake Laserzsee.

•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~• The Karlsbader Hütte is a majestic mountain hut at 2,260 metres above sea level in the Lienzer Dolomites in Austria. Surounded by numerous peaks, it is located next to the Laserzsee, and can be reached via a tough mountain bike ride starting in the village of Tristach near Lienz. From valley to hut there are 1,597 vertical metres of climbing, with a section on a paved road followed by a flatter gravel approach to the hut which demands good bike-handling on the descent.
I started my ride in San Candido (Italy) indeed….that means, adding about 40km to the trip.
But believe me when I’m saying….it’s f***ing beautiful!

•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~• Being the second highest in the Zillertal Alps, the Großer Möseler with its 3.480mt doesn't quite get as much visitors as the Hochfeiler, because of that it is a bit more complicated to find the path and the rock is very friable and unstable, especially once you get to the talus slope between the Große and the Kleine Möseler, that you need to climb to reach the summit. Only 30 m lower than the Hochfeiler, the Großer Möseler offers an almost almost 360° summit view.
In addition to the glaciated peaks of the Zillertal Alps themselves, on a clear day you can easily see many of the glaciated peaks of the Stubai and Ötztal Alps and the Hohe Tauern, including Austria's highest summit, the Großglockner. And nearby to the southeast are the small Rieserferner Group, and to the south, just a bit further, are the great Dolomites.
Once you get to the top, the view that opens up before you literally takes your breath away! ⛰⛰❤️❤️

•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~•~~• In the past six years since I started hiking, I've spent over 90% of my time on trail hiking solo. I choose to go solo for a variety of reasons, as I told you in my previous posts. However, the original decision to go it alone was not because I was trying to prove something to myself; it was because my friends didn't feel like hiking or where just busy at work, and I was looking for adventures in the mountains, so I did it! There's nothing quite like spending a few hours (or days) alone in the wilderness, and I highly recommend everyone try it at least once in their life. However, many people have reached out to me over the years (mainly women) expressing anxiety about going solo. They will ask how I overcame the fear of being alone in the mountains, with concerns ranging from worrying about getting lost to being afraid of the "monsters" lurking in the forest or accidents that can occure.
I, too, spent the first few years worrying about the "monsters" in the forest or injuries by hiking mountains, but the more time I spend hiking solo, the less afraid I became.
This hike to the Große Möseler indeed was a big challenge because of the high amount of elevation gain (almost 1700m starting by the Neves Stausee) and the very unstable rock conditions on the top of the Groß Möseler.
But I put together all my motivation and a bit of healthy craziness and ventured into this new adventure.

Description of the hike in the next posts! ⛰⛰❤️
