🇨🇴❗️Please read the text below to discover the importance of street art in Bogotá ! ✨

Since the early 2000s, Street art has become a part of the identity of Colombia. It still took few years for the people to accept it, but many have surely started to accept and embrace this art form that is considered illegal in some places till date.

La Candelaria is one of the famous places of Bogotá that is particularly known for street art. Those graffitis cannot be reduced to simple creations or eye candies. These artworks have much more meaning than we think they have. They reflect the struggles of the Colombian people. The goal of these artists is to transform their pain and convey powerful messages to the society through their art.

While graffiti is prohibited in most places, it has a different reputation in Colombia and is admired by tourists who visit the country.
