The 18th of February marks the day of the death of Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni.
Born in the Republic of Florence he became one of the most influential sculptors, painters, and architects of the High Renaissance. That is why he was called Il Divino ("the divine one").
Here we present two of his works in Rome, the statue of Moses in San Pietro in Vincoli and Capitoline Square.

Today we celebrate the "Conversion" of Saint Paul.
It is the moment when Christ appears to Paul during his journey to Damascus.
Then Ananias restores his eyesight after being blinded by this event.
Afterward, he stops persecuting Christians and becomes a follower of Jesus.

"But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:10

The first picture can be found in "Santa Maria in Traspontina" and the second in "Santa Maria della Concezione".
