Join the Remote Working Revolution
Humans are nomadic since the very beginning of their development: around 2 million years ago our archaic ancestors, the so-called Homo Erectus, moved out of Africa and up until the first agricultural revolution (10.000 BC) we have been mostly nomads wandering around the empty spaces of an unpopulated world. But what does it practically mean that throughout Human History we have been nomads for more time than we have been settled in one place? In my opinion, it explains why it is so embedded inside us an unconscious desire to move around, explore and discover our beautiful planet, it’s all written in our DNA and we cannot escape it.
Finally after thousands of years where humans have been forced by society to stay deeply rooted in one place, today thanks to the technology developed by computer engineers over the last 3 decades (without forgetting the electric revolution where everything began and that Lake Como also contributed to thanks to the invention of the first battery by Como born physician Alessandro Volta) we can work from wherever we are as long as we have an internet connection, the implications for this revolution are huge and we want to support it as we know how enriching for the personality it is to open up your mind while living the diversity of our world with your own eyes.
We have therefore decided to launch this FB page to build-up a community of digital nomads/remote workers centered around a growing number of serviced apartments on Lake Como and Lake Lugano, obviously we are here to make money to pay our bills but money should not be the ultimate goal that humans have, it’s just a mean of exchange and the exchange for us comes first! Therefore, our goal for this page is to become an exchanging place where remote workers spending time in the area can aggregate in order to find activities and opportunities to meet with each others and to interact with locals for sharing ideas, conversations, talks, parties, outdoor activities and whatever else your mind can think of...
The apartments we offer are all equipped with high speed Wi-Fi, they are fully-furnished and overall they are close to the water of both Lakes, a pretty cool benefit for those of you who love watersports or to take an energizing dip in the water to start the day...
