The pagoda is located in Truong An Ward, Hue City, Thua Thien - Hue Province. The pagoda was built by Venerable Minh Hoang - Tu Dung in about 1695. In 1703, Lord Nguyen P**c Chu gave the pagoda a "Sac Tu An Ton Tu" sign.
