Ancient Roman amphorae found in the sea between Marina di Noto and Vendicari.

40 amphorae from the 1st century B.C-1st century A.D were found in the Vendicari Reserve, aligned as they were originally at a depth of 70 meters. The finds could provide new clues about ancient trade routes and the transport of alum.
