Charlie Dalin aboard Imoca MACIF Santé Prévoyance equipped with ropes and cables, is leading the Vendée Globe and has set a historic record:

🌏 He took 9 days, 22 hours, and 27 minutes to cross the Indian Ocean from the Cape of Good Hope to Cape Leeuwin, averaging about 18 knots and setting a new Vendée Globe record.
The previous record was held by Michel Desjoyeaux since 2008, when he completed the crossing in 10 days, 7 hours, and 37 minutes.

👉 The 2024 edition of Metstrade was a great success for .

This year among the novelties we presented at the show there where , our (available at https://www.gottifredimaffioli.com/en/resources/catalogue/ ) and the fact that the most iconic products have become thanks to a partnership with Ogyre that aims at collecting the same weight of plastic from the ocean as the amount of these products sold.

We had many special guests with us, among them top sailors Caterina Banti, Giovanni Soldini Pagina Ufficiale, Alberto Riva - Navigatore.

Our thanks go to all our visitors, and our clients, who demonstrated a deep interest in our as well as in our for the leisure marine sector, and joined us at our booth also for a drink and a relaxed chat at the end of the first day of work.

This is something Alicia De Pfyffer knows well, as she faces the sea every day with respect and dedication, in preparation for the Mini Transat 2025.

So today, we want to celebrate a first, important milestone in the collaboration between and Ogyre 1 ton of plastic recovered from the sea! 🌍💙

With our Fishing for Litter campaign, for every kg of rope from the OneDesign line sold, 1 kg of plastic is removed from our oceans 🪸
