Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in dieser romantischen „Residenz“. Maria stand uns jederzeit mit wertvollen Tipps zur Seite und hat uns auch einen Termin zum Olivenöl verkosten organisiert. Bei zum Glück schönem Wetter konnten wir den herrlichen Garten und die einmalige Aussicht genießen.
Für den Besuch von Florenz und Pisa nutzten wir die Bahn. Gegenüber vom Bahnhof in Montecatine Therme ist ein größerer kostenloser Parkplatz, nur 3 Minuten Fußweg.
Empfehlenswert ist ein Besuch von Montecarlo und Lucca mit Spaziergang auf dem Stadtwall.
