Casa Cesira is not a simple dwelling, Casa Cesira is an expression of love for our territory, our culture and our way of living Salento.
All the furnishings present, chosen with care and dedication, represent a historical period, all belonging to old charming mansions, recovered and adapted in a modern key within our structure.
The lighting, of handcrafted, was chosen to give a warm and welcoming design atmosphere.
The marble used to make most of the furniture in the bathroom, called DIASPRO ROSSO, represents the bright colours of our land, the warm and intense red of the summer sun.
The kitchen, deliberately chosen from a professional line, will be at your service to make you live a unique and unforgettable culinary experience accompanied by expert chefs that you can request by your side.
The coat of arms widely visible at the entrance, clearly represents the era of construction dating back to 1700. The entire structure, was part of a larger complex and at the disposal of the architect Ferdinando Sanfelice, was built in the context of the foundation of the Conservatory, a charitable institution strenuously wanted by Bishop Antonio Sanfelice for the purpose of training and starting young women to work, especially those exposed to the danger of deviations or who already had negative experiences on their shoulders. Directed by the same designer was also the construction of the church near our structure which was then completed in 1722 when Bishop Sanfelice celebrated the rite of dedication on January 15 of that year.
