Waiting springtime "Driven and Guided" is pleased to take you to the beautiful places of the Gulf of Naples to enjoy breathless landscapes in the sun. This is the programm :
Amalfi Coast tour is one of the most spectacular coast roads in Europe, and allows you to explore beautiful places passing through some absolutely stunning scenaries. The main localities of the Divine Coast are Positano Amalfi and Ravello.
Along the way we will make 3/4 stops to make beautiful pictures including isola dei Galli, the rock that looks like Napoleon' little bays and marvellous fiords.
We arrive to Positano about 10,00am, you will have free time for shopping and visit the chrch of Positano where you find a painting with byzantine Madonna .
The visitor immerse himself in a world of extraordinary beauty. After visiting Positano we continue our way to Amalfi. Before arriving to Amalfi we see the small village of Praiano with its beautiful Church of San Gennaro, and later we arrive to Conca dei Marini , where it is possible to see the showroom of the Vietri ceramics factory , and the Emerauld Cave with its color effects from cobalto blue to tarquoise to green.
After that we arrive to Amalfi , a city located at the foot of the Wind Mills Valley and overlooking Mar Tirreno through the large square dedicated to Flavio Gioia considered by many the inventor of the compass.
Not far from the sea the historical centre of the city with the wonderful Cathedral built in the XII century by Roberto il Guiscardo. Nice to stop along the way and see the different terraces of the coast from where you can admire landscapes that are always different as the Fiordo di Furore, Grotta dello Smeraldo, Spiaggia marina di Praia.
In Amalfi you will have one hour to visit all.
Then we arrive to Ravello , where we can choose to go to a restaurant or have a snack. Here you will have a while for shopping and photos.
The terraces of Villa Rufolo and Cimbrone in Ravello, enchanted Wagner and Greta Garbo , in honor of which every year is held the International Festival of Music.
Ravello is a quiet and chic town, a terrace in the Lattari Mountains , which offers a scenario of natural beauty unique in the world.
At about 15.30 we are going to return to Sorrento.

When we tell about history and archeology we refer to many centuries before Christ when our civilization was born under the sign of music poetry art wealth and power...when emperors senators and heroes wrote the stories and legends of gorgeous places...this history can be read on the walls and ceilings of the ancient buildings that are still there...the same atmosphere the same mysteries the same feeling of centuries ago...these pics regard the stratospheric villa owned by Publio Vedio Pollione who was a social climber and could work for Caesar Augustus...to go into this villa he made a 770 mt tunnel to connect his house to the center town of Neaples
