Passion is the distinctive characteristic of Sicilian people and it transpares in in most of their gestures and attitudes. This is why Sicily is such a great destination for street and travel photography and you should not miss the opportunity to visit and photograph the streets and the markets of Palermo, Catania, Siracusa, and more.

Passion is the distinctive characteristic of Sicilian people and it transpares in in most of their gestures and attitudes. This is why Sicily is such a great destination for street and travel photography and you should not miss the opportunity to visit and photograph the streets and theì markets of Palermo, Catania, Siracusa, and more.
The Turkish word Yılkı means ‘free horse living in its own environment’. The Yılkı Horses are hundreds of free, wild, noble and gorgeous Anatolian racehorses that have been living in the center of Turkey for centuries. Most of them live nowadays around the village of Hürmetçi, a short distance from Cappadocia. This area provides the horses with a natural environment with its green areas, wetlands and vast expanses where they can run freely. This is such a great opportunity for photographers who want to take some strong, cinematic pictures, with herds galloping at sunset and raising clouds of dust that glows in the sun, or crossing marshes in Spring. Today there exist still more than 300 wild and semi-wild Yılkı Horses and they are under protection.

The 2025 Venice Carnival is fast approaching and I still have a bunch of photos from the 2024 edition that I still need to work on.
Problem is, during a week we tak eso many photos of gorgeous subjects, that it takes a whole year to go through them all.
Today I'm starting to share a series of photos from past trips to Sicily, all sharing a common theme: Passion.
Passion is the distinctive characteristic of Sicilian people and it transpares in in most of their gestures and attitudes. This is why Sicily is such a great destination for street and travel photography and you should not miss the opportunity to visit and photograph the food markets of Palermo, Catania, and Siracusa.
Just another one of those misty, magical, Tuscany mornings.
I keep returning to this place again and again, because the atmosphere there is almost always magical, especially in the fall.

It's that time of the year when we start making plans for what and whom we will photograph at the Venice Carnival.

You started out in photography because you have great taste. You can appreciate beautiful photos when you see them.
The problem is that at the start your work is not that good. It has ambition to be great, but it's not there yet. But your taste is excellent, so you
can tell that what you're making is not up to your potential. This can be frustrating, like there's a gap between what you are now and the artist you know you can be.
I'll teach you many of the artistic skills you'll need to become a great photographer. My students tell me I have great knowledge about all aspects of photography, and that I'm generous sharing this with each student individually. I'm also patient. And always available to help.
Quality accommodations, great food and wine are just part of the experience you'll enjoy when you travel with me. You can get all of this in some amazing locations all across the world.
