guide meeting 2024.

Imm.1 & 2: we double-checked and was unconscious. Suddenly call 112 then we started RCP. Unfortunately he wasn't breathing 😅. We have know he was safe by first aid staff, later🤣. We gained our BLSD, mandatory for 😎

Imm. 3: be professional. Always sketch a map which can lead to the goal.

Imm. 4: there's always work and party so work hard party harder. And eat the receipt which has to offer.

Imm.5: Check the right tools but no steal them. We still have the robbery's hands as memento.

Neither a Beppe Salerno was hurt nor bike leader 🤣🚵‍♀️🚴🆘.

And so ends my holiday in 🇵🇹 with a very close linkage to Siena. Here you can see church and by Niccolò Nasoni or, in Portugal, Nicolai Nasoni.

He worked in the cathedral of Siena as well. Contributing in the making of the Francesco Maria de’ Medici's catafalque and the so called "Maypole" etching which show the celebration of Snail contrada after the victory of the Palio in 1712 on July the 3rd.

That's a wrap. Back to Siena and waiting for the season.

Last ride in November and 3 kg less. Today 1800 m elevation gain on 60 km. It was not so bad.....cough, cough, cough 🤮🤮🤮. Mmmm I am still here. Getting in shape for the closer and closer season. Even in holiday.

Swipe the next one, please. I sweat and swear to reach the top and then people with toddler piggyback like nothing. Inclination about 30%.
Why I keep overdoing and straining myself even in vacation?! Oh yeah I remember now. I'm a cycling which is equal to be and sick.

My job part 1: As a I do lead group of many . Different shades of grey in terms of skill. Still my work doesn't begin and die on the bike. Mechanic repairs and maintaining activities are parts of bike leader's skills. As you can guess from my but still flawless

Che cosa fa una guida professionale?

Primo post a cui ne seguiranno altri con ”irregolare” cadenza 😅. Post semi serio per presentare il mio lavoro e quello di tanti altri colleghi e colleghe.

Io sono piuttosto poliedrico lavoro sia come guida turistica che come guida ambientale escursionistica e cicloturistica.

Oggi mi trovo a Torino per programmare un tour nelle Langhe con i miei colleghi. Lavoriamo in team naturalmente con la copertura di un T.O.

Come vedete dall’immagine pubblicata c’è uno zaino. La foto è molto br**ta e io non ho voluto migliorarla non avrebbe avuto alcun senso 😁 . “Ma che c’azzecca, allora?” Beh è la nuda e cruda realtà degli spostamenti necessari per la progettazione, controllo e messa a punto di un tour in questo caso ciclistico. “Aahhhhhh ma allora vai a divertirti 🙄🙄😏😏😏?!!”. Già sentita molte volte, purtroppo non è così. Sicuramente l’ambiente è disteso ma non faccio il turista e i tempi stretti devono essere tutti sfruttati al massimo. Già sul treno durante lo spostamento si lavora su software (forse li vedremo nei prossimi post) appositi che permettono di tracciare percorsi. Evitando spreco di tempo.
Tuttavia la programmazione avviene a monte. Tracciando mentalmente le varie giornate del tour ed elaborando una metodologia, propria ma in parte insegnata nelle ore di corso per sostenere l’esame di guida, che permetterà la buona riuscita del tour. “Allora durante il tour bevi, magni 😋😋 e vai farti ‘na scampagnata in bici 😛😛!!!” Eh no, sono i nostri ospiti che si divertono io e i miei colleghi dobbiamo far si che la programmazione fatta a monte fili liscia nella pratica. Perchè come dicono i nostri amici americani “Sh*t happens but you, professionaly (aggiungo io), deal with it” trad. “La m***a succede ma tu, professionalmente, te ne occupi. Non sono troppo corretto politicamente nello scrivere e anche meno nel parlare.

Post 1 di molti sulla figura professionale della guida con cui, ebbene si, mi pago affitto, bagordi (pochi) e tasse 😥😥. Il prossimo sarà su un tema scottante la tariffa della guida ovvero ”ma sei così carooooo???? Ho sbagliato tutto, dovevo fare la guida🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑!!!!!” Stay tuned boyzzzzz and girlzzzzzz.

🇮🇹 Durante l'esplorazione dei percorsi capita di imbattersi nella fauna locale. Spesso può dare un supporto, come in questo caso, almeno morale. L'esempio di crociato amiatino ha veramente sollevato il mio compagno di avventure di oggi Mattia Manca]. Segnalo che non è stato fatto alcun male a nessun asino. Tanto meno a Mattia Manca]. 🤭😉🤣🤣

It often cheer you up like in this picture. This is a "crociato amiatino" specimen and his loveliness cheer my teammate. Anyway I want to point out neither of them were harmed. 🤭😉🤣🤣

🇮🇹 Che cosa faccio? Sono una guida polivalente. Escursioni, bici e città. Per fare sì che tutto fili liscio e sia accattivante io e i miei colleghi prepariamo sempre a monte le nostre visite 🤓🤓. Ognuno ha una propria metodologia a secondo del tipo di tour che svolge🧐🧐. Oggi io ero in scouting 🤠🤠, verifica e pianificazione del percorso, e ho applicato il mio metodo . Una parte del quale lo svolgo con la bici....quando possibile. Io lo trovo divertente 😛😛😁😁.

🇺🇲 What about my job? I am a multi field guide. Walking, biking and city tour. Me and my colleagues set our tours in advance🤓🤓. Each of us have our own method for each different tours🧐🧐. Today I was scouting 🤠🤠 and I applied mine. A part of it I do riding my bicycle...when possible. I find it funny😛😛😁😁.
