Sowhul District is a project aimed at putting into the current Italian, european and, why not, global electronic music scene a new soul, something different. It strives to achieve this purpose by introducing various emerging artists who already have an experience based on their own personal bent for musical sounds and on their own undoubtedly unique style. Thus, the fusion of multiple minds enlive

ns the desire to give a chance to many “immune carriers” of an innate talent to express themselves unconditionally and to let the music speak for them. The idea is to create a group of valid components capable of exporting their own concept of music in order to draw a line of thought that is defined and original. Sowhul District is a structure that, focusing on solid foundations, wants to demonstrate that the music that starts from the bottom is the one that less feels the need to impose limits in relation to the time, being ductile material that feeds on evolution and continuous renewal. The soul is the pulsating part of our mind and of our heart and, it is no coincidence, the heart in order to work produces involuntarily a pulse.

Dedication and research are the values characterizing Dj Plant Texture as a musician.

Having a background made of drums, percussion and keyboard studies, Dona has soon found his own path experimenting with machines.

Constantly looking to redefine his barriers and enhance his sound design skills, Dona has been plumbing the depths of Electronic music, ranging from Jungle and Drum Bass to Acid and Techno by passing thru Ambient and Electronics.

Proudly supporter of the vinyl format, he runs a record shop in Bari - South of Italy (EXP RECORDS), which is now an important base for the local scene.
