❄️That is the answer of many people to the lack of snow this year.
Obviously we haven’t had enough snow but the Etna historically is not a winter destination.
🔥Its position so close to Africa and its Mediterranean weather don’t help at all. The reasons why snow melts quite quick are many but certainly one of them is not the temperature of the volcano!
There’s just one case where the snow melts when it touches the ground! When it touches a lava flow 🌋

🌋Are you ready for THE HIKE on the Etna?
🥾I’ll give to you “The Stomach of the Etna”, a tour crafted by me with the purpose to see a whole extinct lava flow from the bottom to the top into what’s considered the biggest Caldera of Europe: The Bove Valley!
The tour offers the Best panoramas you can witness in Sicily, hiking along the entire east coast with the view of the Etna from the summit craters to the coast.
👉Is it a tour everyone can do? The tour is intermediate and difficulty can be adapted to the group average level. If you are in a good health and you don’t have any health and physical problem you will nail it 💪🏻
👉Do i need special equipment? The equipment you need to bring must be especially comfortable for you! You don’t need to have techinal clothes but if you do it’s better! Make sure to wear comfy clothes, comfy shoes and a bagpack to take everything you need with you!
👉What’s the weather like up there? The weather up there can change anytime and because of that you will discuss with me, the day before, about the right and final equipment to bring on that day!
👉Do we have to take the cableway? No! On my tours we HIKE only. I believe, only if you walk you get to see the most important and incredible places you can see on the Etna!
👉Is this a tour where I see the most important spots of the Etna? Absolutely! It’s designed to see a cave, lava flows, forests, the Bove Valley and craters.
