Dear all,
Due to the actual circumstances about the CoViD-19 in Italy, I have to cancel all the trips to Langhe and Monferrato in April and May. I do hope we can go in June as scheduled.
Saluti,
Marina

Food journalist Robyn Eckhardt of my favorite blog on eastern cuisine EatingAsia explains why we love anchovies so much

It’s messy, it’s fishy, and it will give you disastrously bad breath, but it’s all worth it for this Italian anchovy snack.

Last weet food journalist Marina Vizzinisi gave a presentation of our trip to the students of Scuola d'Italia in Amsterdam about Piemonte and our trip. Some of them have already been in the Langhe, but they were not very sure about what food is eaten in Piemonte.

Brasato al Barolo: much more than a beef stew in red wine! To prepare it, you start the night before by marinating the meat with wine and spices and vegetables. The morning after you slowly stew the meat for several hours, until tender as butter. But it's the day after that the leftovers, if any, are even more delicious!

Do you know the ravioli al plin? Plin means crinkle in Piedmont dialect, and it's perfect for holding a sauce.
These ravioli are filled with meat and green vegetables and have a light sauce of butter and lavender, a modern twist on the traditional butter and sage sauce.

This is MY Italy: food, wine and astonishing scenery

This picture represent all the beauty of MY Italy. Tables ready to host people in a friendly and relaxed environment, where NOBODY is in a hurry. You sit, you start chatting with your company or even with people you never met before. You place your order and then turn your head, watching the BEAUTY outside: your eyes are inundated by the colors, the smoothness of the hills that surrounds you, the bright and yet gentle light of a glorious October midday. And then you loose track of the time, you are not there, impatient waiting for your order to arrive. No. You just stop tracking the time, thinking “Gosh, this is beautiful”.

Well, I tell you a secret: this happens to me too EVERY TIME I go to Piedmont, more specifically to La Morra, UNESCO Heritage since 2014 and rightly so, a small village close to BAROLO (yes, Barolo isn’t just the name of a beautiful wine, it’s the name of the small village where it’s produced and exported worldwide) .

I decided to give the unique opportunity of discover and taste MY Italy, and during our 7 days trip or long weekends tours. Check our website www.tastemyitaly.it for details.
