🌎🪵Christmas 2021 has just finished and I would like to explain to those who do not know why Fiaccole are so important to us. The 24th is the most beautiful day of the year, fiaccola means Christmas, friends, family. It is the moment in which we feel our roots: the wood of our mountain and the fire of our volcano. It is a millenary tradition that unites us with our ancestors and with our heirs. It is the past, the present and the future, it is the most magical night that exists. It is a ritual, a tradition, a moment of joy and thanks to that we learn the importance of waiting. There has not been a year in my life that I have not returned to my city to celebrate this event and so it will be 🔥

✨Yesterday, just a day after its reopening, I had the chance to visit the for the first time. Walking through this iconic passageway, now empty as it was originally designed, was such a unique and emotional experience.

🙏 It’s an exclusive and unforgettable visit, but I really hope they’ll allow people to stay more than two hours inside the Uffizi in the future, especially since the ticket is full price.

🚀 Still, an amazing experience I’ll never forget. More about it coming soon on my website!

Uffizi by Night - Special openings -

🖼️Another two Tuesday evenings, another two groups of amazing friends, and unforgettable moments together!

✨✨I always ask for their feedback because they’re my toughest critics. Locals and true lovers of the city—who better to give me honest opinions? They were thrilled, and some told me I’d even sparked a new passion in them to dive back into the history of our city.

⚜️What a nightmare it was yesterday! The match was suspended due to a health scare involving our beloved Bove, who, thankfully, is now doing better.

💜Florence had prepared a historic choreography, inspired by a powerful symbol of strength and courage: a majestic sword stood at the center of the scene, dominating the entire curva. Alongside it, a banner read: “People of Florence, irreverent to the world, feared and respected, your warrior spirit will never be tamed!”

This moving message, engraved on the sword of Giovanni delle Bande Nere at the Uffizi, reflects Florence’s indomitable spirit, blending tradition and pride in a timeless gesture of unshakable unity.

💪🏻 But without a doubt, the greatest battle was fought by our Edoardo—our brave warrior with a purple heart!

November 30th - ✨ The day of Tuscany ✨✨ Why? Well, today marks a significant moment in history: on this day in 1786, Tuscany became the first state in the world to abolish the death penalty, thanks to the reforms of Grand Duke Leopold.

This celebration reminds us of Tuscany’s remarkable contributions to art, culture, and progress—values that continue to define our region.

Did you know that?😊

Be like Robyn and Jeb :) Don’t be a fast tourist! Take your time to truly experience a place.

Staying for more than 3 days? That’s when the magic happens! Together, we explored the heart of Tuscany: Florence, Siena, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and the Chianti countryside.

✨ My advice? Plan for at least 5 days here to soak it all in!

Picture this: a Tuesday evening at the Uffizi.

✨There are plenty of great tours out there, but friends like mine? Absolutely unmatched.

⚜️Locals need time to reconnect with their city. The beauty of the low season? Exploring and loving Florence without the crowds. Late-night visits and unique experiences make it all the more special.

Thanks for supporting me 💜

November 4th 1966, Florence and other areas in Tuscany were struck by a devastating flood as the River burst its banks. The disaster claimed lives and left a trail of destruction, damaging buildings, vehicles, and priceless cultural artifacts in the historic center.

Despite the scale of the tragedy, Florence’s resilience, together with the support of both Italian and international communities, enabled a remarkable recovery, restoring much of what had been lost. This anniversary is a powerful reminder of the need for environmental care and improved safety measures to protect against the growing impacts of climate change. My thoughts goes to Spain 🇪🇸 💔
