The Islamic Republic of Iran plays a key role in international trade. Its economy is stable in the top 30 world economies, ahead of Israel, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Austria and South Africa. It is also very diverse since about 50% is dedicated to services, 41% to industry and 9% agriculture. As far as the energy sector is concerned, Iran plays a key role in international trade, as it is fourth in the world in terms of oil reserves (it is among the member states of the OPEC), while it is second in terms of gas reserves on its territory. But the most promising indicator for Iranian potential is certainly human capital: about 64% of the population is under 35, and 73% of the population is urban (similar to the more industrialized countries). For all these reasons, and certainly for partnering with a great local company, Tejarat DanaPayeh Co., we participated in Iran Oil show in Tehran.
