La storia comincia nel 1972... quando la passione porta Umberto Merlin ad interessarsi al mondo del go-kart, prima come pilota, poi come meccanico e nel 1980 co

me preparatore di motori (titolati a livello mondiale). Il tutto si concretizza nel 1984 con la nascita della società MRC che per un breve periodo continua la collaborazione con diverse case costruttrici di telai e motori. Gli ottimi risultati ottenuti fanno nascere l'idea di progettare e costruire materiale proprio, dapprima i telai MERLIN ed in seguito i motori ATOMIKART/ATK. L'esperienza, i test tecnici ed i relativi risultati, applicati costantemente alla produzione di serie, portano i ns. telai ad essere in continua evoluzione ed a garantire la migliore affidabilità e qualità. The story began in 1972 when Umberto Merlin started to approach the world of karts, first as a driver,later as a mechanic and in 1980 as an engine tuner (worldwide entitled). The MRC was founded in 1984 and for a short period continued to collaborate with various chassis and engines manufacturers. The great results achieved led to the idea of projecting and manufacturing its own material, at first with MERLIN chassis and then with ATOMIKART/ ATK engines. Experience, technical tests and their results constantly applied to our production have given to our chassis and engines a continuous evolution and a guarantee of reliability and quality.
