Hi, Friends! We are now entering swarm season. It’s very natural for Honey Bees to swarm in search of a new home. When they do this, they’ll often land in a big football-sized clump in a tree. Sometimes they’ll land on a car. They typically will only hang around for 1-24 hours.

If you see something like this, please do NOT spray them with poison.

The bees are extremely docile when they’re in a swarm.

When you see a swarm, please call a local beekeeper club. ROANOKE VALLEY BEEKEEPER ASSOCIATION

The bees will be re-homed before you know it. Help save the bees.
