Just by way of update regarding the impact of Hurricane Beryl in Ocho Rios: as of Monday power was restored in Skycastles/ColumbusHeights. Debris has been cleared from the roads and a video of Ocho Rios main street shows the town as mostly tidied. The worst hit part of the island was St Elizabeth in the south. Ocho Rios was pretty much spared- no broken windows or roofs off in the complex. Guests are still arriving in the suite. Pauline is taking care of the place and will ensure everything is ready for you. You may just wish to travel with some basic food staples like cereal, coffee, bread, etc for the first day or so until you are settled, or you can arrange for delivery through online grocerylistjamaica.com.
