Reggae summerfest has started in Jamaica known as the greatest reggae show on earth. We welcome all our visitors for this and our Independence festivities next month but while you're here on the island obey the laws, you won't be excused. Control your alcohol intake and remember don't take our g***a not even an ounce in your luggages back to the airport

You're allowed an ounce in your possession on the island with charge. Don't allow anyone living on the island to influence you to break the laws while on your vacation

Be careful who you chose to go places with while on the island and don't give out your credit card information to anyone. Inform your bank's where you're going on vacation before you leave your country cause if you don't you will have a difficult time getting cash from the ATMS

I'm wondering how much value people place on their lives and safety over the use of cell phones on the road.
What I see from driving in motor vehicles to walking on the road are persons especially young women talking on their cell phones, crossing the roadway not looking neither up or down and very much unaware of how close the vehicles are to them.
When the drivers tell them to move out" a di road", they 🌟 cursing the drivers.

You all need to stop this, the drivers cannot be charged for you walking into their vehicles on the road talking on your cell phone. When you reach hospital bruk up or dead you deserve it.

Today Jamaica celebrates sixty years of independence. We are celebrating with joy our athletes who once again have made us proud at the recent World Championships in Oregon, Commonwealth games in England and in Columbia at this time, when it comes to good tasty health foods ask Jamaicans. We enjoy our old time plantain porridge, breadfruit shake, pacasa which is made with ground provisions and vegetables such as carrot and tomatoes cooked in coconut milk with codfish, sweet potato and cornmeal pudding, bammy and escovetish fish, fritters, curried goat and gungo rice cooked with coconut milk and good old sorrel drink with fruit cake and sooooo many more, very interesting history too and we are the island of James Bond
