Monday November 6th Finished off Kanto Adventures Mt. Fuji season going from May to early November. This year we operated a total of 43 climbs, 21 in the spring (May / June), 13 in the summer (July~September), and 8 fall climbs (October~Early November).
We brought a total of 252 people to Mt. Fuji with 243 of those people reaching the summit a record breaking year for Kanto Adventures.
We have completed another injury and accident free season, and wish to thank our guides and the hut staff on the mountain that have helped us achieve another great season!

Finished off an epic spring season on Fuji this past Monday. Kanto Adventures put on a total of 27 trips. We took a total of 124 people to Fuji and 118 of them made it to the top for a 95% success rate and no injuries.
We still have some opportunities for summer Fuji at the beginning of August and our Fall climbing calendar is online now!
We practice ice axe self arrest at the 8th station before heading higher on the mountain. This is the only way to stop if one more to start sliding down the steep icy slopes.
The conditions on Fuji have been more challenging than is typical for this season with hard icy slopes up high due to rain and low temps. We made it but it was difficult

Had an awesome weekend out in the North Alps climbing the Tengu Couloir up to 3,000 meters and then traversing the very exposed ridge to Gendarme. Then we fixed a rope over the Horses Back to get us up to the summit of Oku Hotaka, 3rd tallest peak in Japan. An amazing group of 9 people from 9 different countries!
