一年一度春季藝妓及舞妓京舞表演　「都舞」😍😍😍

The Geiko and Maiko of Kyoto are professional entertainers who perform at high-end dinners, private parties, and special events. They are trained in various traditional Japanese arts, such as dance and music.
First held in 1872, the Miyako Odori is a dance performance by Geiko and Maiko from Gion Kobu, the largest Geiko district in Kyoto. The show consists of a total of eight splendid scenes, showcasing the changing of the four beautiful seasons in Kyoto. Let’s enjoy the wonderful colors of spring and this unique traditional performing art!"

The Tale of Genji, said to be the world’s oldest extant full-length novel, was written in the early 11th century by Murasaki Shikibu. The story is a grand drama of love and hate, infatuation and sorrow, unfolding during the Heian period of ancient Japan.

It is magnificently brought to life by the OSK Nippon R***e Company, one of the leading all-female musical theater groups in Japan. Do you know Obon Holiday in Japan?

Obon (お盆) is an annual Buddhist event for commemorating one's ancestors, whose spirits are believed to temporarily return home in order to visit their relatives during Obon period.

Obon is observed mainly from August 13 to 16 in most areas of Japan. But the holiday week starts from Aug 9 to 18.

Everywhere is crowd and please make reservations for your accommodations and trains in advance!

If you are going to Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto Himeji, Hiroshima, Fukuoka on Nozomi trains, please make sure you have seat reservations in advance!

JR Tickets, Shinkansen Tickets and JR West Japan Area Passes are also sold at our counter.

During May to September, the restaurants in Kibune offer a charming and seasonal dinning style known as “Kawadoko” for visitors to enjoy seasonal delicacies in a cool and relaxing atmosphere. Kawadoko, which literally means “floor on top of a river” is a special and seasonal way of dining to escape the summer heat and is also one of the summer charms of Kyoto.
A patio-like tatami floor is built above a river where guests can sit and dine on while listening to the sound of stream and enjoying the cool breeze. The typical cuisine for Kawadoko is “Kaiseki”, a traditional multi-course meal made by seasonal ingredients and local delicacies.
