We recently organized and executed a group tour from China, visiting Kyoto, Osaka, Shiga, and Nara.

This tour went beyond regular sightseeing, offering hands-on experiences in traditional Japanese crafts such as swordsmithing, ink making, kendo, and Japanese confectionery.
By participating in these activities, which have roots in Chinese culture, the tour provided an opportunity to learn about the cultural exchange between Japan and China.

For uniquely designed tours in Japan, please feel free to contact us!

Recently, I went canyoning in a certain place in Japan. I was amazed by the incredibly clear river water. During canyoning, I descended waterfalls with a rope, navigated the river with a packraft, and jumped into the river from rocky areas, fully enjoying the natural beauty of Japan.

JAPAN TOUR GUIDE also offers such experiences. Please feel free to contact us."

【Make tour arrangements as soon as possible!】

Currently, in Japan, it is becoming difficult to arrange bus reservations due to a shortage of bus drivers.

Due to COVID-19, many bus companies laid off their drivers. As a result, many bus companies are now unable to accommodate the requests of numerous inbound tourists.

Therefore, please make your travel arrangements to Japan as early as possible.

The name "Gatalympics" is derived from the combination of "gata," which means mudflat in Japanese, and "Olympics." This unique event, held in Saga Prefecture, celebrates the rich mudflats of the Ariake Sea. Participants compete in various humorous and challenging games in the mud, such as mud skiing, tug-of-war, and foot races. The Gatalympics not only provide entertainment but also raise awareness about the importance of mudflats in the ecosystem. The event attracts many visitors each year, making it a significant cultural and tourist attraction.

I also participated in this event and had a great time getting covered in mud.

This is an annual event and we will offer tours in conjunction with this event next year. Please contact us if you are interested.

The Best Places to Go in Kyoto (1)

The chef cooks alone, but his dishes are quick, efficient, and attentive to the ingredients.

We especially recommend the fresh salad, wagyu beef tempura, and omelette rice.

Please go there.

【Why not also experience the winter fantasy of Kyoto?】

Kyoto is popular during the fall foliage season, but it is also a place that can be enjoyed in winter. In particular, Kuramadera Temple offers light hiking, scenic views, and its history. We recommend visiting in the morning, when there are fewer people than in the center of the city.
Why not try sightseeing with a guide? Accommodations and transportation can also be arranged.

【a light meal&tea ceremony 】
Cha-Kaiseki has a unique origin as a special meal that used to be enjoyed before the tea ceremonies. It consists of rice, 3 main meals and a soup. The sense of “Wabi-Sabi” is regarded as very important and it’s to enjoy the seasonal fresh ingredients. It was originally served as a light meal which was prepared by the host of the tea ceremony to welcome guests.

After the Meiji period (1868-1912), the tea ceremony became more strict, emphasizing ceremonial manners, but the tea ceremony was originally intended to entertain guests in a free form.

At this chakaiseki, the menu changes monthly, offering ingredients and dishes that showcase the Japanese seasons.

You can enjoy refined chakaiseki, Koicha (thick tea) preparation in an authentic tea room, and make your own thin tea.We hope you will enjoy the charm of Japanese tea ceremony culture.

Please DM or whatsup if you have any inquiries or wish to experience the program.

Dyeing and Craft Workshop was founded in 1914 in its present location. For more than 140 years since the dyeing business took root in Shinjuku in search of the clear water of the Kanda River, we have inherited the dyed komon of Tokyo and dyed Edo komon and Edo sarasa.
We will take a close look at and explain how kimono of a quality that cannot be mass-produced are made, and visit a workshop that has inherited the techniques of the time.

Various paper patterns are used and paints are applied to them to draw seasonal plants and patterns.

In this workshop, participants will draw patterns on a tote bag using a paper pattern.Afterwards, you will visit a traditional workshop with a Tokyo Metropolitan Government certified craftsman who will show you how Edo komon has developed.

There are scarves with vivid colors and patterns on a transparent base and ties with a fine texture.
