By popular demand, the 2026 Japan Travel Awards application deadline has been extended to Friday, July 4 at 23:59 JST! 🕛🇯🇵

We’ve heard from so many of you this past week asking for just a little more time—so here it is! We hope this helps those of you still putting the finishing touches on your applications 🌱✨

🏆New to JTA? Here’s a quick rundown:

✅ Who can apply?
Any organization involved in tourism, such as local governments, tourism associations, DMOs, accommodation providers, or tour/activity operators, regardless of size or past achievements.

✅ Is there a participation fee?
It’s completely free, from application to judging to promotional support.

✅ What are the benefits of winning?
・Promotion on our official website and social media to audiences in Japan and abroad.
・Opportunities for exposure in international and domestic media.
・Free expert advice and brand-building support.
