Recently visited St. Nicholas Church, Orthodox Christian cathedral in Ochanomizu of Tokyo as well as Yushima-seido Confucianism temple origin from China, and Kanda myojin Shinto shrine, a sanctuary of National religion of Japan. There are three religious monuments together closely and friendly in this neighborhood in Tokyo.

I got a French speaking guide-interpreter license authorized by the Japanese government recently. Lunch with new friends of French speaking guides at Saido vegan restaurant in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo. All ingredients are made without meals and fishes even no milk nor eggs. Look at this ! A stuff like UNAGI (eels) made by different ingredients of vegetables and tofu (bean curd)!

Started working at Olympics village Tokyo as a multilingual guide crew for self-driving minibus of TOYOTA. Athletes and their staff from different countries are arriving before the village opening on July 13. The opening ceremony of Olympics will be held on July 23 at the Olympics stadium.
After work, I had a beefsteak lunch at Ikinari steakhouse in Kachidoki. It is yummy 😋 😋

New style of Japanese pasta "Tokyo Tarako Spaghetti “ in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The pasta Al Dente is eaten with Dashi soup and Tarako: lightly grilled cod roe and some vegetables and seaweed on top. It’s really YUMMY 😋

Visit Mt. Koya (Koyasan in Japanese), one of UNESCO world heritage sites of Japan in Wakayama prefecture, which is located in south of Osaka. It is exactly solemn and sacred place. Solitary monk called Kukai (officially known as Kobo-Daishi in Buddhist society) established a worship place with complex of temples for the esoteric Buddhist sect of Shingon which was transmitted from India as well as astronomy and geology, after had learned and practiced this doctrine in China, 1200 years ago. His mausoleum is situated deeply in the mountain as a holy place.
I stayed in Shukubo which is a temple that offers lodging for guests. Traditional vegetarian meals (dinner and breakfast) which are made from local ingredients and hot bath as well as Buddhist morning worship can be experienced.

I went to Asakusa Sensoji Buddhist temple which is one of the most colorful and popular temples in Tokyo. The legend says that in the year 628, two brothers fished a statue of Kannon, the goddess of mercy, out of the Sumida River, and even though they put the statue back into the river, it always returned to them. Consequently, Sensoji was built nearby for the goddess of Kannon. The temple was completed in 645, making it Tokyo's oldest temple. I prayed the goddess for ending of the crisis of COVID-19 🙏

We have special dishes for new year, which are named auspicious meanings and to be superstitious, such as Golden-colored sweet potato with chestnut : to be rich, small sardine fishes : work hard, herring roe : lots of children etc..
And we go to Shinto shrines to pray for good luck and good health in new year🙏😄

Miyash*ta park and Shibuya Yokocho food street, was newly opened in this autumn.
High-rise building called Shibuya Sky Scramble Square, there is an observatory deck where you can see whole city of Tokyo, opened last year.

My daughter had a wedding ceremony in the traditional style of Shinto, an indigenous religion of Japan. The ceremony was conducted in Nogi Shintô shrine in Tokyo.
Even under the crisis of Coronavirus, small-scale wedding party was allowed in Japan.

Today's lunch @ a tiny Japanese restaurant KappoTanaka, Akihabara. Set menu with sashimi of blue fin tuna, scallops, octopus etc, it cost 950yen! approximately, USD9.00. The fishes are sooo fresh!!
