おもてなしレディースは新庄まつりポスターの
英語、中国語繁体字の翻訳を担当しました🌟　

今年の山車は20台！
どんな山車になるのか、わくわくしますね。

The Shinjo Festival is only about a month away!　

The Omotenashi Ladies were in charge of translating
the Shinjo Festival poster into English and Traditional Chinese 🌟

There will be 20 floats this year!
We are so excited to see what kind of floats they will be!

26th, Monday 〚Winding down festival and antelope dance〛

*Shinjo Festival is held on the same dates every year.

「夏越しの大祓」の時期になりましたね！
今年も"茅の輪"が戸澤神社に
設置されました✨

この茅の輪をくぐってお参りをしたり、
"ひとがた"と呼ばれる紙人形に不浄なものを
うつしたりすることで一年間の半年分の穢れを払い、
残りの半年分の健康を願います。　

大祓の儀式が執り行われるのは6/30(日)午後3時から、
茅の輪は7/7(日)まで設置されているそうです。

ぜひ一度お参りに行ってみてくださいね🌠

It’s the season of "Nagoshi no Oharae",
a Purification Ritual!
"Chinowa" a large ring made of reeds has now
been set up at Tozawa shirne.

You can cleanse impurities accumulated
over the first half of the year and pray for
good health in the remaining half by
Passing through the Chinowa and transferring
impurities from person to paper doll called "Hitogata".

Nagoshi no Oharae will be held on 6/30th, Sunday, 3pm. Chinowa is available untill 7/7th, Sunday.

⛴豪華客船「ダイアモンド・プリンセス」、
「ウエステルダム」のオプショナルツアーを
歴史センターにておもてなししてきましたよ〜！🌸

2日間に分けて、約200名の方が来館されました✨
今回は英訳の説明書きを増やし、物産協会さんにも
ご協力頂き移動販売を開催🌼

皆さん、農具や民具、雛人形の歴史や背景に
興味津々で、「色々なものが一気に見ることが出来て
とても良い博物館だね！」「展示がすごく良かったよ」
と沢山のご好評を頂きました。

「色々なところに行って同じようなお出迎えをして
　もらったけど、本当に歓迎されていると感じたのは
　ここだけだよ」といった嬉しいお言葉も😊

これからも皆さんに喜んで頂けるようなおもてなしを
していきます🌼

We welcomed cruise ship's optional tour of Diamond princess and Westeldam at Shinjo History centre which brought about 200 people in total for two days!

In this tour, we made some English captions for most of equipments and even had a pop-up gift shop by Local products association with kind corporation.

The tourists seemed very interested in History and background of agricultural equipment , oldstyled household items and Hina dolls and said that "it's such a nice museum that you can see everything" "very nice exhibition",etc .

They even said that "we've visited and been welcomed in some places but it's only here that we felt we're truly welcomed".
It makes us happy 😊

We'll try our best to guide and welcome to make tourists happy🌼

昨夜久しぶりに雪が降った新庄市です☃
最上公園付近では木々に雪が積もって
とてもきれいでした❄

天気が落ち着いている際は冬のお散歩も
おすすめです👌❄️

It snowed fir the first time in a while in shinjo city
and trees looked so pretty with snow around Mogami park.

Highly recommend to walk at night in winter too,if it's not that windy.

昨日、3/6(水)は山形新幹線つばさの新型車両
〚E8系〛の試乗会ということで、皆でお出迎えを
してきました🌼

E8系はスピードアップに加え、全席コンセント設置や
全ての号車に大型荷物スペースを設置、車椅子スペース
も増設されたそうです✨

駅弁をはじめ、色々なグッズも販売となりました🚄🌟

デビューは3/16(土)です！
出発式もあるので、見に来たい方はぜひ🙆🌈

台湾の皆さんがまた雪遊びに来てくれましたよ〜！🇹🇼❄

そり滑りや雪だるまを作って遊んだり、
みのをかぶって写真をとってみたりして
雪を満喫していました⛄🌼

みのを着てみたお客様は「台湾にも色は違うけど
似たジャケットはあるよ！」とのこと。
似た文化もあるんだなと親近感が湧きました🤔🌼

We welcomed another tourists from Taiwan for
playing snow!🇹🇼❄️

They sledge so many times,made a snowman
and took a photo wearing Mino,a straw jacket
unique to snow country and totally enjoyed snow!

The tourist who wore Mino said there is a similar
jacket in Taiwan!
We felt an affinity with them that we have similar culture.

いちご大福や豆もち、草もちなど種類豊富です🌟
毎年大体3月末まで販売していますが、食べたい方は

Popular "Daihuku"(mochi with different fillings)from Kurita rice store in Kaneyama is now available at Bussankan, inside the Shinjo station!🤭

The fillings are strawberry ,bean,mugwort,etc.
They usually sell these untill the end of March but

やってきた皆さん☃🍌
バナナボートやスノーモービルだけでなく、
雪玉を作って投げたり、雪だるまを作ったり、
ダイブして感触を楽しむなど雪を満喫して
いました😊

JR 東日本の"お医者さん"が新庄駅に来ていました〜！

JR東日本と近隣の鉄道会社の線路で検査を行う
検測車で、公に運行ダイヤを公表していない
激レア車両なんです🌟

見かけたらとてもラッキーですよ🤭🤭

在来線だけでなく色々な電車が来る新庄駅、
是非お立ち寄りの際には電車に目を向けてみて下さい🚃

クルーズ船　ダイヤモンドプリンセス号の乗客約100名の方々がオプショナルツアーで新庄ふるさと歴史センターを訪れてくれました。

短時間でのおもてなしでしたが、3年ぶりにおもてなしレディースの活動をする事が出来ました。

インバウンド、この先も賑わっていく事を期待して、私達もまた新庄を案内できるように勉強していきたいと思います。
