I will show you the places we visited on one of our tours in May.
May is the best time of year to see the shiba-zakura (lawn cherry blossoms)! Therefore, we visited the Fuji Shiba-zakura Festival held in the Fuji Five Lakes area near Mt. Fuji. On this day of the tour, our guests had the opportunity to visit with the lawn cherry blossoms in full bloom!
Additionally our guests experienced fruit picking of “strawberries,” the fruit of the season near Oshino Hakkai.

As this tour takes customers to flowers and nature in their peak viewing season and must-try experience unique to the region, tour destinations and meal menu are not specified.

Ghibli Park is now fully open!

The accommodation plan includes the Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium and the 1-day bus tour includes the Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass, you can enjoy the whole day.

The new area, Valley of Witches, which opened on March 16th, is a European-style area inspired by Studio Ghibli works featuring witches.

Sunrise Tour celebrated its 60th anniversary on March 21.
On the memorable day, we invited Maiko（A maiko is an apprentice geisha） to AVANTI, the meeting place for bus tours in Kyoto, for a photo shoot.

On March 21, 2024, we held the 60th anniversary of JTB Sunrise Tours!
On this memorable day, we had a mochi (rice cake) pounding event with our guests who had participated in the Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour.
It was the most delicious mochi ever.
Since ancient times, a mochi pounding has been practiced in Japan on New Year's Day and other celebrations and special occasions known as Hare (Hare) Days.
I hope everyone who participated in the tour yesterday enjoyed pounding rice cakes together as a memory of their trip to Japan.
