Shōgun became the first Japanese-language series to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, with its first season winning 18 of the 25 nominations.

Lord Yoshii Toranaga (portrayed by Hiroyuki Sanada) was based/inspired by the life of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Tokugawa Ieyasu, a powerful daimyō and lord of the expansive Kanto Region. He played a pivotal rule in unifying Japan and is one of the most important figures in the nation's history.

The weather was fine & hot but we didn't see Mt. Fuji due to thick clouds. Anyways, the guests were still very happy to have experienced the different places and activities throughout our journey.

Tokyo Panoramic Night Tour

As dusk falls, the sprawling metropolis of Tokyo transforms into a city of bright lights. The street & tourist attractions of Tokyo have a different charm at night.

One spectacular way to enjoy the night scenery is to take a tour aboard private vehicle that will take you around the different night spots and traverse the Tokyo Bay's iconic, Rainbow Bridge and admire the metropolis Tokyo on one side and Odaiba area on the other side.

The tour starts from 7:30 pm and duration is approximately 3 hours (180 minutes) with multiple short stops for picture taking.

Nestled among the base of the mountains near Mt. Fuji is an old farming village also known as "Healing Village", the community is comprised of 20 traditional thatched roof houses that depict old-time scenery of the Showa Period. Each house highlights traditional Japanese culture through hands-on experiences such as crafts, sampling of local produce, and an opportunity to dress up in armor or kimono.

In winter, snowfall transforms the village into a magical, fairy tale-like landscape that commands a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji like no other.
