One day bullet train ski trip to Yuzawa by myself.. It was a weekday special deal that included round trip Shinkanseni train tickets from Tokyo and one day lift pass - .only for 9,300 yen. I went to Yuzawa Kogen, one of the smaller ski resorts in the area. It was not busy at all, and there was no waiting in line ski lifts.Highly recommended if you have a free day in Tokyo.

FAM (familiarization trip) in Shinetsu of Nagano. It is probably one of the most bicycle friendly areas of Japan.There are various rental bikes, including e-bikes, tandems, road bikes, MTBs that you can hire at the Iiyama train station, less than 1.5 hour journey from Tokyo.

You can use excellent support facilities such as a support mini bus that can take up to 13 passengers and bikes and
ski gondolas to shuttle bikes.
