Great news for Japow shredders! Japan has raised the cap on entries into the country and started allowing un-escorted tourists in! For Canadian and US visitors, getting into Japan is now super easy as long as a locally based travel agency (such as yours truly) can sponsor you in. For tourists from other countries, in addition to getting sponsorship you need to schedule a stop at your friendly neighborhood Japanese consulate/embassy. Still though, this is a massive improvement for anyone looking to come to Japan this winter. Yeeew!

Unfortunately, due to yesterday’s snow storm, the illumination show scheduled for Jan 14 & 15 will be cancelled. The next show is set to take place on Jan 21 & 22, located at the pension village just below Ani ski resort.
