Hi everyone!

We're excited to introduce you to Gotokuji Temple this week. Have you heard of it before?
This unique Buddhist temple is located in the Setagaya ward of Tokyo and is known to be the origin of the famous "fortune-bringing cat figurine" - the maneki-neko!
And let us tell you, there are literally thousands of maneki-neko cats in all shapes and sizes here.
It's a treat for the eyes!

Getting there from Shinjuku station is a piece of cake. Simply hop onto the Odakyu line towards Hon-Atsugi, and get off at Gotokuji station. The shrine is just a brief 5-minute walk from the station, so no need to worry about getting lost.

Gotokuji Temple is open every day from 6am to 6pm, and the best part? It's free to visit!

Hey everyone,

We have exciting news to share, especially for those planning a trip to Japan next year. The Michelin Guide, which has been reviewing restaurants based on its star system for 123 years, will now rate hotels and accommodations in addition to restaurants. Japan will be the first Asian country to receive the Michelin Key distinction at the beginning of 2024, which is a significant step for the Red Guide. The Key selection will be available on Michelin Guide's website, which will integrate a hotel reservation booking system, a platform for customers to leave hotel reviews and ratings, and a travel assistance service. The inspectors from the guide's hotel and restaurant teams, who come from 25 countries, will work together to ensure synergy between the restaurant and hotel experience.

The first picture showcases the Imperial Hotel Tokyo, which will feature its famous restaurant, Les Saisons, offering a perfect blend of Japanese and French cuisine. The second picture showcases the famous The Ritz-Carlton in Osaka, which will be featured with its restaurant La Baie, a one-star Michelin restaurant. La Baie specializes in seafood and uses traditional French cooking techniques for its dishes, paired with wine and Champagne.

This week, we would like to introduce you to Karuizawa, a beautiful resort town located in the mountains near Nagano, Japan. Hey, everyone!

Hey there! I'm excited to tell you about our experience at the 13th World Karate Championship held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on October 14th and 15th. We had a booth where we showcased our amazing product and offered awesome gifts like a passport case or a folding fan, and on top of that, we gave a 30% discount on our pocket wifi rentals. It was a great weekend, and we loved being a part of the action.

We had a super fun time meeting folks from all over the world while cheering on some amazing karate matches in a delightful atmosphere. It was simply unforgettable!

Hi everyone,

This week, we will introduce you to French cuisine made by renowned Japanese chefs at the "French Festival" in Shibuya. The festival is held annually for three days.

In the first picture, there's a salad comprised of swordfish, fennel, and dried tomatoes.
The second picture showcases a sirloin steak with avocado and chimichurri sauce.
These dishes were prepared by the renowned chef, Mrs. Sakura Akimoto, who owns a restaurant called "Morceau."
If you're on vacation, stop by and try out her delicious creations.

The second picture has a French interpretation of a panini and banh mi. The top one consists of pastrami, chuck steak, and grated carrots, while the bottom one is a banh mi French version that includes homemade sausage and vegetables. The well-known proprietor of Jinbocho-Gokita restaurant, Mr. Yuto Gokita, created this dish.
If you have the opportunity, visit his restaurant and try his delicious food.

The last photo shows famous French cheese from the popular company "Fromager d'affinois", including their rare variety "Le Campagnier".

Hi everyone,

As the Japanese autumn foliage season approaches, we would like to introduce some must-see locations in Tokyo this week.

The first image was taken in Shiba Park, which is close to Tokyo Tower. Also, the popular Zojoji Temple is nearby, so take some time to appreciate the beautiful foliage of the temple.

Odaiba (Tokyo Bay) is another location that is well-known for the Statue of Liberty. Shopping can also be enjoyable while taking a stroll down a leafy avenue.

Okutama, which is located in the west of Tokyo, is the last image.
You can travel there by taking the JR Chuo Line from Shinjuku Station or Tokyo Station and changing to the JR Ome Line at Ome Station to reach the destination, Okutama Station.
If you have the time, go there and experience nature at its best.

This week, we would like to introduce a wonderful place that is amazing during the Autumn Leaves leaves in November!
Can you guess where is it?
Yes, it is Kiyomizudera Temple which is very famous for its large wooden terrace.
Kiyomizudera also holds special evening illuminations during the autumn leaf season in the second half of November which makes it very special.
Kiyomizudera is located 15 minutes from Kyoto and can be reached from Kyoto Station by bus number 206.

Here are 5 spots recommended in Tottori!

1. Tottori Sand Dunes
It is 2.4 km from north to south and 16 km from east to west. It is one of the giant dunes in Japan, and the only one in Japan designated as a natural monument!

2. The Sand Museum
It is the only museum in Japan where you can enjoy an exhibition of sculptures made of sand, including the highest sand sculpture.

3. The Gosho Aoyama Museum
The Memorial Museum for Gosho Aoyama. He created the famous "Detective Conan" manga with Aoyama Gosho's original drawings and other valuable materials. Visitors can enjoy the museum while solving the riddles!

4. Tomiura Beach
It is a nationally designated scenic spot and a natural monument with a promenade along the coastline. Viewing the scenery from the sea on a sightseeing boat is recommended.

5. Mount Mitoku
A sacred site of mountain worship that has flourished since ancient times, "Nageiredo," built in the hollow of a steep cliff, is a designated national treasure. Some say it is the most challenging shrine to visit in Japan...

Hi everyone!

This week, we will introduce you to the famous Abura Soba!
What is Abura Soba?
It literally means "oil noodle" and it is a type of ramen dish made with noodles and various toppings sitting on top of a delicious sauce. Before eating, you must mix the ingredients thoroughly until they're coated in the sauce.
It is a famous dish in Japan because, unlike its name, it is not oily at all and just a little oil is used and also for the fact there is no soupy broth.
You can find these restaurants anywhere in Japan but in our case, it was in Ueno here, and the funny thing? The restaurant itself is called "Abura Soba". Try it during your trip and let us know how is it.

After eating, we recommend Ueno Park during the night which is beautiful with all these lights and trees. There is also a Starbucks coffee that you can enjoy while appreciating the view.

Hi, NINJA WiFi Followers!

We are happy to introduce our new series of posts every week. NINJA WiFi's team will present you with some delicious places, beautiful landscapes, or funny places to go in Japan.

Here we go! We start this week with some delicious Korean food at Shin Okubo.
Have you ever heard about Shinokubo?
It's a Korean town in Tokyo. If you go there, you will feel like you are in South Korea.
Let's start with the first and second pictures! It is the famous Korean Bulgogi that you can eat at "Bornga" run by the famous Korean chef Baek Jong Won.
Everything was delicious, the meat, vegetables, and noodles. A must-have if you go there!
To finish, with the last pictures. It is called Sulbing, a Korean Ice Cream dessert where you can choose your topping flavor. In the 3rd picture, we ordered Double Chocolate, and Cotton Candy on the 4th, and for the last shot, it is Kinako flavor and mochi! (Kinako is soybean flour).
You can enjoy it with your friends while watching the view of Shinokubo's street.
