Just a quick look at the HBC International Goodwill Square. The large snow sculpture is entitled “The Ruins of St. Paul’s, Macau” and the projection mapping display on the sculpture every night until the end of the festival.

Sapporo Factory
Sapporo Factory is one of the largest shopping malls in Japan, which is established in the historic site where the first Japanese beer brewery was founded in 1876. For dining and for souvenir shopping, it's been a popular spot. With approx. 160 shops and facilities it draws people with the attraction of Sapporo and Hokkaido.
Auto Resort Takino
Auto Resort Takino is a campsite located in Minami-ku Sapporo (southern part of the city). It is a comfortable five-star campsite, where you can even visit empty-handed since they have all kinds of rental camping equipments. Children's happy voices echo around the site of well-mown lawn.
The fireworks display sponsored by Hokkaido Shinbun Newspaper and UHB Broadcasting Station was held on Friday July 29. The venue on the river banks of the Toyohira River was filled with people such as ladies in summer kimono "Yukata", families, and couples. Approximately 4,000 fireworks were set off in the night sky, attracting the viewers. It's an annual event that is loved by Japanese people as a summer tradition.
Susukino
Susukino is the largest entertainment district north of Tokyo. There are bustling restaurants and bars in this area. It is said that the number climes to about 4,000! Among the neon-glittering streets some people hang out until dawn. There is a festival in August with a parade of portable shines and the gorgeous and dazzling "Oiran Geisha" parade.
New Chitose Airport
New Chitose Airport, virtually the entrance of Hokkaido, reopened a few weeks ago as a more amusing place. There are onsen (Japanese hot spring bath), theme parks of popular cartoon character Doraemon and chocolate. Dining, shopping and playing..., you may forget all about time. Please don't miss your plane!
Okurayama Ski Jump Hill was used in the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympic games. Just 5 minutes ride on a lift, you'll reach the powerful and breathtaking starting point of ski jump. At Winter Sports Museum there, you can experience a simulated ski jump too.
Yurigahara Park
Yurigahara Park is a comprehensive park of flowers that is located in Kita-ku, Sapporo.“Yurigahara” means “Field of Lilies.” There are lots of different kinds of lilies from around the world, as well as roses, dahlias, and so on. You can also enjoy riding on Lily Train that goes around the park on a track among the beautiful flower gardens. Why don't you enjoy viewing the wondrous flowers from the train?
Sapporo City Jazz
"Sapporo City Jazz" is a music event that started in 2007 with the concept of "Sapporo Becomes a City of Music", marking its 5th holding this year.
Over 1,200 professional and amateur musicians from both Japan and abroad gather in Sapporo to entertain more than 100,000 audiences in this 42-day summer event.
Shiroi Koibito Park
Shiroi Koibito Park is a popular tourist spot. It's a chocolate museum where you can enjoy a factory tour, or making your own "Shiroi Koibito Cookies" in the Cookiecraft Studio, and there are a shop and a restaurant too. The renowned brand white-chocolate-cookies "Shiroi Koibito" are actually made here.
"Shiroi koibito" means "white lovers" in Japanese.
You can also enjoy their fabulous rose garden in summer.

SAPPORO JR TRAIN STATION
It's virtually the "Entrance of Sapporo" where approximately 100,000 people use every day. There are hotels, department stores, shopping malls, and movie theaters around the station, making the area attractive for shoppers and for gourmets!
Tokibi Wagons
"Tokibi Wagons" in Odori Park are the charming sights of the park. "Tokibi" means "corn" in Hokkaido dialect. A delicious cob of corn is 300 yen each. The first fresh corn of this year will be sold late this month.
Moerenuma Park
"Moerenuma Park" is a comprehensive park designed by the world famous sculptor Isamu Noguchi. A 62-meter-high artificial hill called "Moereyama," several formative objects, and especially in summer "Moere Beach" is popular. Above all "Sea Fountain" is a must-see facility; the fountain can reach 25 meters at its
maximum height. The dynamic movement of the water reminds you of birth of life and the whole universe. It's a sculpture of water.
Flower Festa 2011
"Flower Festa 2011" is Sapporo's event featuring flowers. It's the 19th festival this year. Under the theme of "From Life Full of Floweres to a City Full of Dreams," gardening workshops, flower markets, displays of gardening arrangements, and contests were held. With the fine weather, about 300 thousand visitors enjoyed the flowers.
Tanukikoji
Tanukikoji a long-established shopping arcade. A row of more than 200 unique shops, restaruants, and souvenir shops stands on both sides of the alley of 900-meter-long (7 blocks). Mixture of traditional Japanese taste and new style makes the mall vibrant, attracting the locals and the tourists.
