A wet wet morning to start with Asakusa but it definitely didn’t dampen our spirits. We explored the streets, temples and shrines. We tried the famous street food and the most popular tempura restaurant all without having to queue thanks to the rain. Will be seeing this lovely lady from Honolulu tomorrow again for Kamakura trip.

I am so glad she enjoyed Kamakura so much. It’s a joy to explore all the temples, shrine and caves together. Pictures don’t justify its beauty. You must come to explore yourself!

Cooling morning to walk around Asakusa town that originated 1400 years ago and the oldest and most famous Buddhist temple in Japan - Sensoji with this lovely lady from New Zealand.

It’s cloudy though but the weather is just perfect to visit the most famous and oldest temple in Japan - Sensoji-temple. Nice to be part of the lovely mother and daughter bonding trip.

It’s a mad rush for my Asakusa’s tour this morning. The tours were back to back but it didn’t dampen my spirits to enjoy it with a solo traveler from DC Washington. Thank you for a wonderful Wagyu and Kobe beef lunch together. Hope to see you and your family soon in the Land of Rising Sun!
