19.02.2025. The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism & Wildlife, Hon. Rebecca Miano, EGH, joined key industry leaders, including KTF Chairman Mr. Odek Fred and CEO Ms. Susan Ongalo, to launch the 2024 Annual Tourism Sector Performance Report and the Report on Sustainability & Climate Change Impact on Tourism at the Coast.

📈 Key Highlights:
✅ 2.4 million international arrivals in 2024—a 14.6% increase from 2023!
✅ Tourism earnings hit Ksh. 452.2 billion—a 19.79% growth from last year!
✅ Commitment to sustainable tourism& a 5 million visitor target by 2027!

Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF) Chairman, Mr. Fred Odek and Ms. Beatrice Mate earlier today represented KTF at a multi-agency technical team meeting focused on improving airport customer experience and service.

The team, led by Roads and Transport CS Davis Chirchir, CS Interior & National Administration Hon.Kipchumba Murkomen , PS Dr. Raymond Omollo (Internal Security and National Administration), PS Prof. Julius Kibet Bitok (Immigration and Citizen Services), PS Mohamed Daghar (Transport), PS John Ololtuaa (Tourism), and senior Treasury officials, are working on a customer experience report and its implementation.
