THE LIFESTYLE OF HIPPOPOTAMUS

They live in areas with abundant water, as they spend most of their time submerged to keep their skin cool and moist.
Considered amphibians animals, hippos spend up to 16 hours per day in the water according to how we study their lifestyle. Hippos are social beasts, hanging out in groups called schools, bloats, pods or sieges.
So on this day they celebrated birth of their child. Hippos also get angry and aggressive when one of them gives birth.

THE RUINS OF GEDI.

The Ruins of Gedi are historical and archeological site near Indian Ocean coast of eastern Kenya. The site is adjacent to the town of Gedi (also known as Gede) in the Kilifi district and within the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest.
Since the rediscovery of Gedi ruins by colonialists in the 1920s, Gedi has been one of the most intensely excavated and studied of those sites.
The site of Gedi includes a walled town and its outlying area. All of the standing buildings at Gedi, which include mosques, a palace, and numerous houses, are made from stone, are one history, and are distributed unevenly in the town.
There are also large open areas in the settlement which contained earth and thatch houses, stone "pillar tombs" are a distinctive of Swahili Coast architecture found at Gedi as well.
