We wish the new President a hearty congratulations.

In an industry that commands over 5 Trillion yearly, as Kenya we ought to rebrand ourselves. Factors crippling our tourism sector for instance is the closed skies policy. Kenya is getway to the rest of East and Central Africa but it beats logic as to why despite having 3 international airports, we do not allow for open skies and fair competition from multiple airlines. Pricing of air tickets have been ridiculously high and this in itself limits domestic usage let alone international tourism!I feel it is totally unfair of taxpayers money to be trounced in poor decision making especially because some of these airports were renovated to international standards at high amounts in excess of 6 billion like Moi Int Airport Mombasa!What value for money is in this?Lets not even talk of hefty taxes on hotels that makes our prices go over the ceiling hence losing clients to relatively beautiful places but very affordable neighbouring tourist destinations.

Further to this,I see need to give a chance to new idealists, new implementors and have change that is needed! May God go ahead of us as President William Samoei Ruto confers diligent patriots with dockets they shall lead with passion and purpose!!

I am very hopeful and expectant of change!
