Gentle giants 🐘🐘

I caught this emotional moment in Amboseli where a female baboon hang to the dead body of her baby. The female seemed like she knew something was not right with her young one, but didnt seem realized that death had taken away her child. The other young baboon seemed to try and comfort her but she shrugged him off and after a quick check on the dead baby, the young baboon ran off to his mother. The harsh reality of nature playing out on the African bush. Such a tragic and truly a very sad moment to witness 😥

Just before the sun set on the last day we have with our guests in the Mara, we got a chance to spend some time with these two speedsters.

This was what was waiting for us when we arrived back to Maasai Mara today 👍

This how our day 2 started in the Mara. Early morning start at 6am and we found this female outside Matira Bush Camp. After two hours of following her across the grassy plains, she stalked, chased and took down this Thompson gazelle. What a treat and what a wildlife experience for our guests 👍 This is how it all went down!
