UGANDA ADVENTURE GALORE To JINJA

Dates: August 26– 31st August 2024

2nd Edition- December 22- 27th December , 2024

Jinja is the adventure capital of Uganda. Being the source of River Nile, this rumbling monster offers the perfect getaway for water sports amongst other exciting attractions.
A. ITINERARY

Day One : Fun & Games on Board
On this day depart very early from Nairobi and head west towards Uganda on A104. The journey through the rift valley is intriguing making stops at various places along the way. Our crew will be at hand to lead you on various board games on the way. The drive takes you past Mombasa, Voi. Machakos, Nairobi, Nakuru, Kericho and Kisumu before arriving at the Busia border. Enjoy crossing the one stop border stop recently opened as you also rest and have a light meal.

Continue west into Uganda to arrive at Nile Explorers camp Jinja for the night in the evening.

Day Three Extreme Adrenaline Day
Today you wake up early to great bush dinner by our safari chef at the camp. Then you get to choose among a wide range of adrenaline as well as chilled activities to embark on. You can choose to do:-

Full Day Grade 5 Rafting: Spend the day with other team players in a combined raft rattling down the white furious rapids of the Nile. A buffet and party awaits you at the end.

Extreme Rafting: If team rafting is not exciting enough then this is it. Just you, a guide, and a small inflatable raft against the mighty rapids of the White Nile.

Extreme Raft River Board: This trip combines rafting and river boarding, so that you can rest the flat water sections and safely raft the few rapids that are considered unsafe for river boarding. If you’re up to it, try your hand at river surfing on a standing wave.

Bungee Jumping: Take a leap over the 45m Platform over the Nile and if you are crazy enough you can choose to touch the water.

Tandem Kayaking: Take a step of faith and hurtle down the Nile on a small kayak with a guide.

Nile Source and Caves Tour: Visit the source of the longest river in the world and take a boat ride around the river in a relaxed way. This is for the non-adrenaline traveller in the team.
Nile Cruise: You can take a sundowner cruise on the Nile with your favourite drinks and music to accompany this amazing experience.

A host of other activities from Horseback safaris and Quad bikes also give you less adrenaline ways to experience the Nile. Late in the evening retire for an evening party at the camp with our chefs’ barbeque.

Day Four - Early Morning Adrenaline Fix & Kampala/Entebbe Escape
After breakfast on this day enjoy any of the above activities that you may have missed the day before, carry packed lunch and depart for Entebbe.
Visit the beach and spend time enjoying the waters of Lake Victoria. Later in the evening head back to Kampala for the night.

Day 5- Kampala – Mombasa Return
Depart very early in the morning for the journey back to Nairobi passing the western towns and the Great Rift Valley to arrive late in the evening. Our team will be at hand to ensure you have fun as you come back on the truck.

The trip ends with great memories.
