I go to chuch occasionally. Also read the bible as a historical, philosophical, religious, scientific and motivational book. But this is what I think.

The most complex and successful innovation in the history of humanity is religion. Those who came up with it were the smartest human beings to have ever graced mother earth.

They created a powerful tool to control the minds of billions of people. The creation of or the alleged existence of God and Satan as antagonists actually enriched their innovation.

Then there is an add on, God is portrayed in good light while Satan is demonised. You haven't heard nothing yet. They hid both God and Satan. You can't see them.

One is an invisible all-knowing powerful boss while the other is a destructive moron whom you can only be saved from his destructive tendencies by worshipping the other.

And they were very clever. They created some imaginary Palace called heaven where God resides. No. Both God and Satan were residing here before wakosane.

The two buddies were allegedly fighting over control of heaven before God, instead of killing his weaker friend, threw him to the earth then later sent his son to save human beings from him.

It's a long meandering story laced with crystals of ambiguity and with no clarity as to its beginning and end. Then these smart innovators put a caveat to ensure you don't ask many questions. They said all you need to do is BELIEVE not to KNOW.

And finally after testing their innovation and patenting it they travelled to some dark continent (according to them) called Africa and convinced its peabrained inhabitants that they've a better religion than what Africans have.

Africans swallowed it hook line and sinker. As we were busy begging God to save us from Satan those who hawked to us their religion took everything: land, minerals, able-bodied men as slaves and our women as s*x slaves. They also killed us yet their Bible expressly states "don't kill".

So you're reading this post knowing very well I'll go to hell because of this post while you'll go to heaven where supposedly God's son is building mansions for you. Safe journey ndugu.
