Game of chances!!! Ever thought through or imagined what we //photographers// go through to get good, presentable, interesting and unique wildlife pictures?
The game begins with some love for good images and or passion to keep memories. Some Equipments are definitely in the page; and this could span from a mobile phone camera to multi milli camera gear. The decisions on what you want to document and the logistics will follow.
Finally and most importance and as show in my header pic from Kenya is skills and patience. Despite having all aspects mentioned above in place, photographers need a whole load of PATIENCE. This could be minutes, several hour and sometimes even days. Imagine camping in same location for days just for a picture!! yes thats what ot takes to make a super picture.
So next time you see a perfect wildlife shot/ picture or video - never skip an appreciation comment or purchase. In the header picture from the Maasai Mara Kenya, a leopard with her 2 cubs hides under a rock seconds after sighting by this photographers. My team was trailing for a Southern Ground Hornbill. They cant leave the sighting yet, optimistic of making some super clicks. This was the 3rd hour- the team is watching the sight in shifts now. One of the seems relaxed with his legs up on the vehicle window. The wait would later pay with perfect pictures after over 4 hours.
