Mashujaa Day Celebrations 20th October 2022

Be a Shujaa, Explore River Sagana/Tana, the longest river in Kenya, with your family in a style. 20km (Kanyanga Mguu) walking along the river with a magical view of Kapiti Plains in search of crocodiles, hippos, monkeys, and rare birds like hilderbabller in their habitats. Stop over at TARDA learn about indigenous trees, few kilometres from Tarda meet the local farmers learn about different types of vegetables as we proceed to Kinara the fish center we get to know about the fish found in River Sagana.Later we return to Thingira Cultural Village for a late lunch followed by a brief history of Agikuyu, Akamba, Ameru, and Aembu as we get to know how Kenya got her name.
