Our blankets make excellent TV couch cuddly blankets, handy carry-on’s for the car and camping. Indigo6 draws its name from the sixth colour of the the rainbow. As a business that mostly uses the Maasai Shuka , we wanted a simple catchy name, drawn from a colour, to keep with the nature of the colourful fabrics that we would be using in the business. Indigo therefore came as a perfect choice for
a name. It is the sixth (6th) colour in the rainbow hence Indigo6. Indigo6 Limited was established in July 2013. Our flagship product is our hand-stitched personalized maasai Fleece blanket. It makes a perfect gift across age and social class. It can be gifted in occasions such as bridal showers, baby showers, christening, graduations, promotions, all the way to retirement. It has been gifted during bereavement in memory of the departed as a comfort memorabilia. We also make kikoy towels out of the Kikoy shuka. We add a soft terry cloth to it to create a light weight, yet highly absorbent towel that can be used in the gym, for swimming and as a light travel towel. Our gifts are extra special because we embroider names and messages as per clients requests making them a most intentional, usable, and loved gift item.
